I'll post some more pictures late tonight. I started to add the vines on the chest and I am trying to figure out how to add the collar while making it easy to cast him.
I’m seeing about securing the use of a family member’s garage for casting- no guaranties at this time. If any one has any suggestions on casting- I'd like to here them.
An yes, for those who remember- I've dusted off my Scarab figure and plan on finishing him soon. I'll post pictures of him after he is painted. (no casting of him).

What material are you sculpting with?
Super Sculpey. There is a tinfoil base under there. It is proped up on a 3/4 dole that is secured into a plank of wood. I can remove him from the dowel if needed for doing detail work.Originally Posted by emboyd

Yeah I like those tools. I do not have the rubber brushes I do plan on getting some. If you don't have any you might want to look into some nice rakes I really find they are great too.

Update. Started to blocking in the vines and collar pieces. Will reevaluate he size ang angles tommorow with a fresh set of eyes. Need to pull out the videos to see how the vines wrap around on his back. Debating how much texture to add to the skin.

I don't watch the show that much, or have reference material to know how accurate it is.
maybe I just really like the way the character looks.
I know the figures generally have a hunched forward look, but the shoulders look really odd in relation to the neck.
