    Custom Evil-Lyn Costume help

    Hey everyone!

    I've decided I'm going to go to the San Diego Comic Con this year as Evil-Lyn, but I want to do it right. I'm looking around for someone decent to do the traditional helmet and gauntlets and possibly breastplate. Does anyone know of a costumer or metalsmith or props person that does this sort of thing?

    I was Frosta last year at Comic Con and had the privilage of being in the He-Man DVD documentary, but this year, I hope to impress Lou with Evil-Lyn if I can pull it off. I mentioned it to him at lunch a while back and he thought it would be cool, so I'm going to try and go for it.

    If anyone has any suggestions as to where I could go, or sites that might help out, I would very much appreciate it!

    how are you going to do the staff? i think it would be cool to get one of those small "lightning balls" you know the kind where you touch it and the lightning focuses in on your finger.

    if you could find a way to rig that into a staff i think that would be really cool.

    You're right! That would be cool! I'll have to check out the local prop guys here in California and see if any one can rig that. That would rock!

    You might get some good tips off of theforce.net

    Not exactly a He-man resources, but there are tons of costume-making tips, including tips on how to make armor like pieces (trust me, i've downloaded the metal bikini guide)...

    well, to give an update, the costume is coming along!! I have a friend making me a helmet, and my costumer making the rest. All I need now are boots!! Yea!!! I'll have to put up pictures when I have some
