Draw "Powers Of Preternia" characters! *Purely for fun*

I, as the self proclaimed "#1 (Crazed) Fan" and President of the Non-Existent Powers Of Preternia Fan Club, hereby create this thread in which our highly talented fan artists here can draw (in their own style) the colorful cast of characters of the aforementioned podcast. These characters include:
    • King Tarvan/He-Ro
    • Eldor
    • The Green Goddess
    • King Hiss
    • Nozo/Biontops
    • Granamyr
    • Zilora
    • The Unamed One (Scare Glow)
    • Ninjor
    • Blackbird
    • Bearhug
    • King Grayskull
    • Queen Veena
    • Lord Ramskull

I am sure that the podcast's producer DestrongerLupus can remind me of any i missed. Keep in mind this is not a contest, nor comissions. This is purely for fun. Just pick your favorite and draw it. See the link in my sig for all existing character designs. Talk to DL for more detailed character descriptions, assuming he has the time to kill.

On that note: Visit this thread to help design a character for the podcast- http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/...d.php?t=134877

I dunno if there's been any art of concpt stuff for Bearhug... but you know who keeps popping into my head when I imagine him?

Uncle Dorko! YOU ROCK MAN! What a cool idea for a thread! Wish I had posted it myself as I'm anxious to see these characters drawn!!!

These are ALL characters from the Preternia Podcast. Zilora was originally a filmation character.
The name of He-Ro is indeed King Tarvan and NOT Gray in our(D/L's) version of Preternia.

Indeed, Hefty "King Hiss" Smurf is correct! Check the link in his signature or my signature, then: download. listen. enjoy. tell a friend.

Lord Ramskull is a Ram Man-like warrior who serves Zalesia's Facelss One using the power of the ram stone, his giant stature, and raming helmet.

Blackbird is the winged warrior who fights in the service of Preternia's second most invincible wizard, The Unamed One (who emits a glow that scares people).

If you want to get technical, they are both Heftysmurf76.

Bearhug is a massively strong anthromorphic bear warrior in the service of King Tarvan and ally to He-Ro.

Zilora is a filmation character. Priestess of the snake clan and servant to the Green Goddess and her consort, King Hiss (Hiss also played by Hefty).

Dorko- Man this is crazy cool of you

And for the record I'm willing to chat with anyone, in public or via pm or email any time about the podcast

    SoB-
GREAT reference! You're not too far off, though for the record the Bear Thief wasn't part of the influence behind our "Heroic Master of Inappropriate Touching"

AND....are you gonna let UD take over your #1 Super-fan position?????

You've still got two voice mails and an art-submission to your credit, so I know you've got the juice ;-)

Anyway I JUST recieved a whole bunch of offical-design work from our art guy (Tigerburn/GigaLeo/Tom) not all finished yet, but we've got a bunch coming soon, and as posted in the main thread here's Eldor as an appetizer

THOUGH, I'd LOVE to see any fan-designs as well, this IS Theatre of the Mind, so no one need take our canon-designs as canon

Considering I don't have time to do any fan art at the moment I might as well post sketches I've done.. Since I will never have time to finish them.

I did this for DestrongerLupus because... Well he's a pest if you live with him.
I haven't even drawn the characters I voice act...

Updated the Eldor file with final shading etc.

And now here's a few more offical design sheets for your viewing pleasure:

Though, everyone should feel free to alter, redesign, and generally make of our characters what they want, this is primarily a non-visual project, so don;t feel limited by these designs!

Well, I know now what one of my next POG customs is gonna be.

Let's just say that THIS figure has some parts I need.

OHHHHH Those are nice wings, nicer indeed than the wings on the figure of the kitbash I'm working on that inspired the character you're likely refering to

Well, I'm sure the rest of yours will look better. Mine'll just be a simple classic figure and I'm still deciding how I wanna do the head.

I've got all three of those figures. I got them back when I was way into Anime and I'd buy stuff just cuz it was anime. Granted, I did like the AMG videos I bought. However, I'm scaling back on stuff on my shelves, taking down stuff I bought impulsivly cuz "It looks cool" and focusing more on MOTU. The three way set-up still looks nice. She' sjust normal Belldandy, not winged one. I'll prolly end up putting it on E-bay for cheap anyway, so I won't miss it.
