I like it a lot. Did you have any other characters besides here planned down the pipeline?

Of our own design?
There were a couple potential ones that were a result of the story.

We never set out to design characters to make our mark, though. Characters are the product of necessity, not pride, in what we had planned out.

After all, it's their characters. Your the one who needs permission to reprint or repurpose your own artwork featuring their characters.

That doesn't mean you can't make the art.
It just means you can't do anything with it for profit... sell copies, use it for t-shirt art, etc, etc.
Only Mattel can do that unless you have permission or a license to do otherwise.

The cat lady bust already got put on ice.
It can't be reproduced in quantity.

Does that mean ,if I should enter a tattoo convention and win a prize for my large MOTU tattoo!, that I would have done something thats not legal?
? Just wondering!

Typically one can be called art,
two is not.
Plus you're travelling into a gray area regardless when you talk tattoos.

Well, finally we know...Cat Lady/Nomad has a name, and I feel like I learned something totally NEW about Masters 200X today, and I appreciate Val & Emil letting us know this juicy tidbit.
It's great to be a Masters fan and discover new secrets, oldskool (DVD's) & newskool (right here, right now).
I shall mark this day in the Hall Of Wisdom.

Pretty cool... but of course this has me humming 'more more more'. So far everything about this mysterious character is intriguing. The art alone has been enough for us to drool over, now her powers, her name, her cat companion... can't wait for more.

Mother of God!!! This news about our favorite mystery woman has me more excited about Masters of the Universe than I have been since I got the last issue of the comic. ILLUMINA, I love her!! Love the little bits we know now as much as I love imagining what stories were in the works with her. Thank you so much Val and Emiliano for making this fan's year!!!

That's how it works when you produce material for a licensed property.

I wonder when this changed since Marvel is still able to use the original characters they created for Micronauts and Rom, Spaceknight as long as they don't mention the licensed characters.

That's because Marvel went into that deal with that type of arrangement for character creation and ownership rights.
