Do you like The Rio Blast Staction?

I want to know how many people like him and how many dislike him cause for me he is the best staction of wave 5.
The 4 Horsemen did an incredible job with him, he was one tough character to redesign and they past with an A+ in my book.

So this thread is to see how Rio Blast is being accepted by the fans. Please share your toughts here.

I seen Emil do a bust sketch a few years back and was always courious as to how they were going to pull him off...
I think he is the best Mini statue in what has been shown so far

I think he's great. I love how they made him more of a bionic sheriff. Replacing the arm with a weapon just adds to the excellent design of the figure.

Great update, but still not a big fan of the character. Although I'm a bigger fan now than before.

No, I don't like it at all....I LOVE it! Rio and Snout Spout (the underdogs of MOTU) were always some of my favorites as a kid and now the 4HM have made them even cooler.

I think he's a great update to the classic figure. I love it, and can't wait for wave 5 to get here!!

Looks great to me! I didn't even know who Rio-Blast was until I'd seen MOTU fans talking about lame characters from the Classic line they would enjoy seeing revamped. 4H, as usual, did a great job! And I'm digging the Tom of Finland/Village People vibe he is throwing out there! Fisto, Rio-Blast and Man-at-Arms...Mustaches united!

Sadly, I never had one as a child. At that point, my interest in MOTU was dying fast, and if I was begging for a toy from the store it ended up being a Transformer

Still, I love the redesign and will definitely pick it up and proudly display it. He looks like one bad mofo, especially now that it looks like he's wearing armor instead of tights.

Rioblast is fabulous! It is wonderful to see a figure that was once pretty cheesy step out of the cheese and into coolness.

He's kinda got a Wyatt Earp Cyborg thing going on...

I really dig the robotic look they gave...very cool!

His head and large gun still remind me a bit of Man-At-Arms, but aside of that, I like him.

I kinda wish he came with a metal cowboy hat, though...

Glad he looks tough, though. Not many good characters look tough.

I agree with Sir Reilly. I love the figure but the head and Canon Arm are too similar to MAA for my liking. (won't stop me from gettin him though!)

I always thought that Rio Blast would have made a cool version of Man-at-Arms in an alternate reality.

How cool would it have been if Rio Blast surfaced from the gateway in the Dark Reflections comic story instead of Man-At-Arms.

Well of course he is

Duncan's clan (For he has n osurname we know of..for now it is Arms

) The Arms brothers are trapped in time periods.

Duncan's in the future with his rockets etc.

Fisto is a Norse Barbarian and has a thing for birds.

Rio Blast was obviously a huge fan of Westerns.

We've already had Samurai Duncan.... what else is left

Turns out that the Sorceress is actually Duncan's second cousin once removed and it all goes a bit twisted.

Time for 'Extendar' to be stactionified? I think he was part of the Rio Blast/ Snout Spout wave in the classic line. My mom kinda took one look at and said "Now these He-Man folk are just taking the 'beep'!" I never did get them as a result - Extendar with a kind of transformers look might be cool.
Perhaps 'ole Rio opens the gateway - as he possibly did for Mattel and Filmmation - for 'Bravestarr' to be rebooted by The Four Horsemen.

He looks really cool! A mix between the 80's cartoon COPS and BRAVESTAR!
Not too crazy about the face as he looks too similar to Man at Arms but definetely a great updated piece!

I like the staction alot, but not to the extent of calling it the best one yet. For me Leech & Tongue Lashor are the best. The 4H always do a great job, & they've made Rio look real cool. I never expected seeing him so soon.But the staction is definitly Great.

It's good to see Rio Blast getting so much approval...too many negative ninnies were blasting him initially. Bring on Rio Blast...he looks awsome!!
