    Madame Razz is from Brooklyn!

    I knew she was as soon as I heard her talk! How awesome to have Madame Razz represent my hood! I wonder how she got transported from Brooklyn to Etheria..?

    Nope, that's definitely a over-the-top Brooklyn (Jewish, eevehn...) accent Ms Razz has going there.

    Well, Larry DiTillio's description of her on the commentary for The Secret of the Sword is that she's like a little old Jewish lady from Brooklyn who knows magic, so fair comment. Deee-L may be on drugs, but it seems like they are more mind-opening drugs than hun is taking.

    Thanks for posting this. I thought this thread was odd, but after your comment I remember watching SOTS last week with the commentary on and hearing this.

    Amusingly in one of the season two She-Ra episodes Shadow Weaver talks to Hordak, with her typically wispy voice by with Madame Razz's Brooklyn accent!

    No, this has been talked about before, and whilst Madame does share some likenesses with the Twiggets, she probably isn't one.
