Hey Val,

I would love to see this! I actually have both of these figures. I actually thought by buying them, I would not only own these varriants, but also help get them off the shelf, so that the line could continue. Sadly, that did not work. But, while we do not have the figures, cartoon or comic, we still have stactions, deluxe statues, mini busts and micro busts.

Would I be write in my thinking that the last minute decision not to produce the two pack was related to the fan reaction to these two figures? Or was it a retailer decision?

Hey Val,

Thanks for that! I did wonder when that occurred and speculated to myself that it may have been too late to stop them from being produced once the single card versions hit retail and fans reacted to them.

Personally, I think it will be awesome to read a new "MotU" story and one that almost became cannon for the modern "MotU" era. I look forward to seeing the origins of these two varriants. However, I do hear what you are saying in that the story was geared to what Mattel hoped would become the next generation of "MotU" fans.

I'd love to see the comic. SB He-man and Skeletor are just about the only figures I have from the new line (I didn't become interested in the toyline until it was too late; the show was my thing, which I saw the first day).

one thing the sb he-man figure gave me that was great?? His Power sword. t he gold looks SO much better than the teal IMO. that's the ONLY reason I bought one!!
