Thanks to everyone for the kind words.

It was fun having Marzo on as a villainous co-host!

Yeah, Shadow hates Teelawhat's up with that, really???

Actually, I'm not terribly fond of Teela's vintage look. I love her 200X design, though.

If I did mistake the pricing for the large items, I apologize. Matty is constantly changing things and rearranging things, and after a while everything becomes such a jumble it is tough to keep it all straight.

I agree with Shads thoughI'm a terrible fan. I just buy and never mind the price!

Thanks to everyone for continuing to listen.

Actually, yeah. I'd love to have them. I guess I see them as a beast character in the same sense that I see Roboto as a humanoid character.

Btw, I'm guessing the other $40 figure this year is a giant, as we haven't had one of those announced yet. Maybe Procrustus. He is mentioned in the Preternia bio...

I like the vintage inspired Teela design but the long ponytail 200X look was great. Also, I grew up on Filmation Prince Adam but the 200X teenager made his secret identity believable. I hope both make it into this line as variants.

Excellent point about Roboto. I see him that way as well. Also good catch on Procrustus. It makes sense that someone mentioned in the bios already would have a higher likelihood of appearing in toy forum sooner.

That is one of the changes I loved in the 200X -- teenage Adam. Much more believable as you said. I wasn't a fan of Cam Clarke's He-Man voice, but the distinction he made between teenage and adult was also pretty good. I was surprised they didn't use two different voice actors like New Adventures did.

Yeah, I agree. Teenage Adam vs adult He-Man worked very, very well. Cam Clark's He-Man grew on me after a while, but I still am not a fan of his "I have the power!" That long "IIII" always makes me think he's about to break into song.

    Back to the $40 item…

Is it possible it could be something like Modulok? I could see him being $40, possibly. They could use at least some of the same parts…or concepts…they've already established. For example, perhaps his interchangeable body parts could attach like TrapJaw's arms, King Hsss's torso, and all the character's heads.

Actually, a lot of Modulok's parts could be reused from figures we've already gotten, if they wanted to "classicize" him a bit more. That is to say, bulk him up a bit. For example, he had arms which looked similar to Buzz-Off's, only smaller. I could see that being kinda cool. Might end up needing to be more than $40 in that case, though. Hard to tell.

I'm glad we got Ty-Tus and Megator, but I'm kinda gianted out for a while.

Besides, I still think they need a high profile item for one of those slots, and I just don't think Star sisters, snake men soldiers, or the griffin fit that criteria.

Stridor/Nightstalker have always been more beast than vehicle to me. They would still be top of my list for the next beast.

    Only time will tell.

Lioncourt, I agree about the 30th anniversary figures representing different periods in the life of the original line(s). I don't know if that was intentional on the creators' parts or not, but I feel the same way about those.

Count Marzo did a great job! Hope to hear more from the Count in the future!

All I can say is we need more MastersCast more often, you guys have great chemistry together. And I think I enjoy listening to episodes with colorful Katy Rainbow Brite a lot more than myself.

And it was great to finally get to talk to you guys after all these years. I wish I could afford to go to SDCC and/or PowerCon to hang out.

Whoa whoa whoa, I wouldn't go that far. "Great job"? I've never been on a podcast or anything like that before.

I hope Modulok aint $40! That seems like a lot for him. I'm putting my money on another 2 pack even though it seems unlikely since we already got a Star Sisters 3 pack and a Snake Men 2 pack coming. Only 1 beast in the Griffin....I'm still lost on what it could possibly be. SDCC will let us know.

Like you guys said on the podcast.
    You need to update more.

Maybe SDCC will spark more discussion from you on the toy-front?

I noticed the iTunes problem too. If you go to the main site and click the direct download link and put your Apple device on standby you should be good to go.

Another great episode and like that you intend to do more as the gaps of time are unbearable for a great show like yours.

Liking the Laser Lot plot too as it adds depth to these characters that are brand new. Giving a broader depth to their origins is a great opportunity for us fans to base our views on them as opposed to a few sentences.

Agree on the sketch of Evil Lyn. She does look completely off point and hope it is down to a bad sketch as opposed to character design. Though I wonder why artists feel the need to 'put their stamp' on iconic characters when they are fine the way they are. Sometimes it's ok to pay homage to the past!

I hope to hear more shows in the future as they are great plus it's great to listen to a dichotomy of MOTU and especially POP fans. Keep it up!

Yikes! I fixed the feed but it will probably take awhile for iTunes to reflect the change. Thanks for letting me know! You can download the episode directly off the website if you want.

Thank you for your kind words! Hopefully we can crank out a few more steady ones -- especially with SDCC and Power-Con coming up.

I definitely agree about it bringing depth to the new characters -- that is a great way to put it. It is something that the bios don't have enough room to do.

    Thanks all!

Like Shads said, I'll be at SDCC, so feel free to say hello if you see me around.

Yeah, we do need to do more of these!

Personally, I'm Hoping for entertainment related announcements at SDCC. That'd be great conversation fodder. Movie? Toon? Anything.
