    What do you think would happen if Skeletor took control of the Horde?

    I had to discuss this here, just for fun, I was watching "Of Shadows and Skulls" again today and when Skeletor took control of the Horde everyone looked so pleased and afraid at the same time, that let me wondering what would have happened if Hordak hadn't returned.

    Would Skeletor take the Horde to Eternia or would he just be happy that he finaly has a whole planet for himself?
    What do you think?

    It's too bad that MotU never had a 3rd season running side-by-side with the 1st season of She-Ra... because if it had, this would have been the PERFECT opportunity for a PoP/MotU two-parter - where part one is a PoP episode, and part two is a MotU episode!

    You could have had a cliff-hanger of Skeletor leading a vast Horde army against Eternia, with him cackling and She-Ra still trapped within that bubble that he put her in.

    To answer your question, I do think that Skeletor would have made a major attempt to take over Eternia, but should that fail... I think that he would eventually forget about Eternia for the most part (as much as Hordak himself did, anyway - Hordak had thoughts of conquering Eternia from time to time in PoP), and become content in having a planet all for himself.

    The rebellion on Etheria would have things a bit better, because Skeletor would probably just be trying to pull pranks on them most of the time (think of how Catra gets on in the She-Ra mini-comics. ).

    the royal family might have moved to etheria and the rebels move to eternia. seriously though the horde tanks probably wouldve got stuck in the sands of time or there would have been some stalemate there like in one motu episode describing eternos' struggle during the orc wars.

    Well, Skeletor would have ALL of his minions, and almost ALL of Hordak's minions, helping him out. He'd be a threat due to sheer numbers of named characters working for him.

    The Horde seemed to be pretty happy to have him take over, at first, if for no other reason than it freed them up to take out their frustrations on Imp.

    Do you think Skeletor would keep this brat? I think he would end up feeding Panthor with him.

    I hate Imp cause he takes away alot of "evil" from Hordak. Loo-kee is tolerable cause he is supposed to be cute an colory for the girls but was imp truley necesary? I don't think so.
    I think this is the reason why so many of us can't tolerate Imp. He doesn't fit right in with the concept of the Evil Horde.

    Imp could be funny, but he really did make the Horde seem a bit weaker. Actually, he didn't make Hordak seem that weak - he just humanized Hordak a bit, in my mind, by giving us someone that Hordak actually liked, and wasn't a traitor to him.

    Still, he made Catra and Shadow Weaver seem weak when they shouldn't be made to seem weak through having Imp trash-talk them all the time, and get away with it. I would have loved to have seen Skeletor blast Imp in "Of Shadows and Skulls", only to have the Horde cheer him wildly for doing so!

    Yeah Imp humanized Hordak, but I don't think Skeletor's master should be humnized, Hordak is supposed to be pure evil, there is no room for emotions on that mind.

    Now that would've been a great scene!!
