Can Someone Help Me Identify This?

I came across this MOC Figure with this back which I can't say I've seen before. First I thought it might be an international variant but it looks like an American card from the front.

    Any information would be appreciated...

well it looks like a normal 12-back.
except of course that the comicpicture on the top of the cardback is missing?!?!

    hmm never seen it before.
must be some kind of "rearrangement"-moc released after the 8-backs, but before the normal picture backs were released.

so *NERD-MODE ON* i guess the cardback should read the generation-sign: "G3" on the bottom right (because the 8-backs are definitely "G1" and "G2") - but it's unreadable due to the small picture. *NERD-MODE OFF*

    cool find, Eddie!!!

But I need to know about this card back...it's driving me crazy! I've tried googling and searching the internet but nothing. Surely someone knows...

I remember this kind of card-back... I think... it looks REALLY familiar. Then again, I could just be wrong.

Anyway, it's making me think of back when they had MOTU stuff at this store called Bamberger's in NJ (which later became Macy's)

I'm pretty sure that I had a Whiplash figure with a card back like this back in '85.

AHA! I think the mystery has been solved. This seller also has a weapon pack for sale so he must have mixed up the pictures of the back. Darn! I thought I had come across something special...

You can see the indentations of the weapons pack bubbles on the cardback, at least I think thats what I see.

I think I have seen it here in Argentian in a Top Toys figure. I find it very familiar, in fact I think I have it at home. Tonight we I come back from college (about 11 pm) if I remember i īll look at it. Tomorrow you have the news.
