Some of us are trying to get better and this is not an appropriate post for this forum. Not everyone likes Daniell Steel you know....I get tired after reading D.S. after the first page - That kind of writing makes me like sick at my stomache - no one likes things without substance......
Of course I'm not saying this exclusively about you favoutie writer's work, I just find the things that I have read rather combersome and boring (I CAN say that since this is a forum that is subject to any and all critiques - so it is said and so it is done! LOL). She has nice and colourful dialogue, but her story is rather one dimensional, in any case that I have read.
(Now I will get ready for the assasins to come and get me!)
Dude, Give credit where credit is due - some like epics, some like lovey-dovey stuff...and some have no taste at all...............
However, Cats IS NOT the best writer in this forum, so perhaps you should re-word your post, if not delete it altogether...........
I am assuming that you haven't read Deltara's stuff, Canadian He Man's, Diva's, or mine; perhaps you should read more before you make such a statement as you did.
And in closing, I couldn't give a rip if you like MY work or any of the others that I mentioned; but Cats isn't - and will never be at anytime - the best writer here. I know writers and artists that are far above and beyond me - not even to mention her.
Deal with it, breathe it, and smell the roses my friend............and I will challenge anyone to come up with an original story, yet lending itself to hommages......
Read more, learn on always, and end up being happy and enlightened! Ja!
People in the background: "So sayeth the shepard, so sayeth the flock!
One is not the number of the writer! It is the number that does walketh within us all - and none shall make claim to someone who is not walking forward , or do they chose coreographed steps being the one that never falls backwards, as so many tend to do, but step does chose to step forwards!
Meows and woems
Last paragraph of the rant was wierd, yet i'll leave it - proving that none of us are the best writers.
