I got Captain Cold and Flash II in the mail today!

now all I need is Camo Aquaman, Blue Beetle, and Booster Gold to complete Atom Smasher!

I hope they get around to some more Flash Rogues post haste!

What do you mean "Flash II"? Isn't there ony 1 adult Flash out so far in the DCUC line?

I think he's just referring to the fact that the figure is based on Barry Allen, who is the 2nd Flash in DC continuity. (Jay Garrick was the 1st) He's the only Flash currently available in the line.

Hope everybody got Adam Strange & Starfire that wanted them, cuz they're unavailable now....

Correct. I refer to characters by their titles, to differentiate them from one another.

that way if I'm asking for Green Lantern I, people don't think I'm asking for Hal Jordan (which I'd never do, I hate the guy), but rather Alan Scott.

When I say "Flash II" that also reflects my hope that they will actually DO Flash I, and Flash III (I'm realistic, I doubt they'll do Flash IV, but I do hope for Kid Flash II).

the numeral simply reflects their place in the legacy.

I'm not a big fan of Barry either, but I do admit he's a Fan-freaking-tastic figure.

I ended up getting some Batmen Beyond via ebay a few weeks ago. Last night, during a random TRU visit I scored Captain Cold and Little Barda (GL and Batman refreshes were there as well). Kid Flash had a bad paint job and the wings on his boots were backwards. I went to the next closest TRU and found the same figures along with WW, Cyborg, Ares, GL and Batman refreshes. Of course, the two Kid Flashes had bad paint jobs (one had an unpainted area in his hair, it was flesh colored, lol). Anyone else thinks he looks like Michael Rosenbaum or is it just me? The marvel universe, wolverine and the x-men and wolverine movie figs were there as well.

Got my Grodd completed at last, and also received Sinestro (yellow version). I was expecting the blue version, so that was nice surprise.

I took a break on DCUC after I got Wave 3. I was planning to drop the line altogether, but I'm considering picking it back up again. The Horsemen just do too good of work.

I saw the Cyborg Superman/Mongol 2-pack the other day and had to snag it. I've wanted Cyborg Supes since the DC Superheroes line.

If I do start buying DCUC regularly, I think I won't get each figure in each wave. I'll just grab the characters I really like and not worry about the BAF unless I really love it.

I thought about dropping this line too. But they seem to have starting moving in the right direction with paints and loose joints. So far I haven't really had a problem.

Now its just finding the last 3 figures in wave 7 and Atom Smasher will be mine!!!
And of course getting the Flash figure. It baffles me as to why they felt the need to throw in a seventh figure that didn't even have a C&C part. Why didn't they just put him in the next wave, or even move another figure to the next wave. Just so they could get thier stands out is the only thing I can think of.

Going forward, the headliner for each wave will come with the stand - no C&C part. I'm sure Mattel knows the big guns will sell, but the lesser known characters will sell better than they normally would if they have a desired C&C piece. Plus, with the headliners getting refreshed each wave, they don't have to worry about changing the packaging tray for future refreshes to accommodate the piece either.

Hawkgirl will not have a C&C piece, and neither will Green Arrow. 7 figures + 2 variants per wave w/6 C&C pieces is the new standard for DCUC.

Its hard enough tryin to find 5 figures with a couple variants in there. Now its up to 9 figures we have to get...if you still need the extra figure with the stand.

I think GL was a weird choice, in cbus he has been sitting on shelves since he first came out. So now there are two different versions of GL sitting on shelves. Great.
And the nearest walmart still has 12 riddlers clogging their shelves, so no new figures there either. great.

I agree - I think the Ronnie Firestorm should have been refreshed first. I was at a Meijer recently, and they have 11 GL figures on the pegs, along with 1 Superman Red. Fortunately, the refreshes are only 1 per case, and they have been moving. (At least by me)

I don't get the common complaint with Big Barda.

LOOK AT THE KIRBY DRAWINGS. She's smaller than Scott.

People take the Big Barda name literally. They think that she's supposed to be like 7 ft tall or something, at least bigger than most male characters. I think it's because of Michael Turner's Superman/Batman series. That book also shown Darkseid to be like 8-10 ft tall.

I have a New Gods Secret Files that lists her at 6'2". And we need a Barda with a Kirby Bikini as a Matty Exclusive.

These must not be accurate then, lol. I need to go back and check but I could've sworn that BB was shown as being a little taller than MM (in their JLU appearance, for example). Darkseid is listed at being 7'6.

How tall is Mongul supposed to be?

I think that second picture, the cover of the Superman trade, is a little out-of-scale. Personally, I've always gotten the impression that Barda was 6'2", or somewhere around there - about the same height as a tall guy, but I don't think she should be towering over Joker (who's traditionally pretty tall) like that. Just my two cents.

Kirby created Barda, Kirby drew her shorter than Mister Miracle, I'm going with Kirby.

yes, those images above are wrong. They fly in the face of Kirby's drawings, they fly in the face of the Who's Who entry. They're wrong.

we have two sources that say 6' 2", that seems pretty conclusive, especially when the only people disputing it are current artists.

How can there be a single definitive height for a character (any character) that is prone to multiple interpretations, in this case comic artists?

Check your credit card statement...there's been some talk on other sites about some folks' credit cards being used for other purchases. Something about the processor CSC uses being hacked.

Just some, though...you may be fine. (Don't mean to be an alarmist!)

Yeah, I read about that yesterday, which is what prompted me to check my account. Seems I'm in the clear. (For now - hope it stays that way)

Glad to hear it! So that means CSC is actually shipping out Wave 7, then?
