I only dislike the invisible kid joke because I'm a loose collector with DCUC, so the gag is kind of lost. It's unfortunate, but I wouldn't be happy to have paid another $20 for an invisible kid figure all in clear plastic.

From the description on Matty collectors website

and an empty (or is it?) slot for Invisible Kid.

Sorry for my disappointment at that not being a possible hint at a bonus extra included in the set. That's how I took it. That 'Or is it?' should NOT have been included in the write up. I was satisfied with the crappy 'joke' package before I saw that. Even though I thought the joke sucked, and was a big waste of packaging.

I never said I didn't want the set. I think it's great. Its just tainted by that stupid empty slot.. sheesh

Actually the empty slot keeps the set symmetrical with the oversize Colossal boy and Proty/flight ring in the middle. It would have been nice to get a translucent Invisible Kid, but we were always told it would be an empty slot.

I don't understand what everyone is talking about. My friends set came with an invisible kid just as advertised. You can't see him because he's INVISIBLE!

Yes, but he's the Invisible Kid, not the Invisible Intangible Kid.

It's funny, but I actually think the DC Direct Orange Luthor is superior. Call me crazy! But I really enjoy it more than the rather placid DC Universe version. Also, the orange is more vibrant.

I'm really hoping we get a redeco of DC17 Lex in the Super Powers colors at some point.

I read on AFI that the Super Powers Penguin will be part of a three-pack; no word on his packmates yet.

Which of course raises the question, who will be the third figure in Legacy Wave 3 - (along with 1st Appearance Batman and Bronze-Age Catwoman)

Berserker79, did you open your Luthor figure? I'm just wondering if yours is like mine. The one I have the torso joint is quite loose, almost like the bobble head effect from MOTUC.

Got Legacy Batgirl, also the new Hawkman not my favorite look but was wanting one to help fill out my Justice League.

Does your Legacy Batgirl have a wonky right leg? I got one and the package molding distorted that one leg at the knee joint and she stands like she's bow-legged. Otherwise, she is perfect.

Best I can do is maybe since most of the figures I get anymore stay packaged. I have heard it's a complaint of her though. Stuff like that is why I typically just leave stuff packed anymore. The packaging is often easier to display then the loose figures.

For example I opened my 3 inch Thundercats, Cheetara right now is leaning on Shredder. On top of my desk hutch is mixed figures. I guess sometime I should post a recent picture of my collection.

Went to my LCS today and finally scored a Priscilla Rich Cheetah, and she was marked down as well

At the same plce I also got a Cyclotron for 4.99 (I doubt I would have paid any more for him but at that price I thought what the hell? )

I saw 2 full racks (small but full) of DCUC figs at a toys store here at the Mall of America. Some good figures, but I think the reason the racks were full was because they were asking $22 a figure. I might stop up later this week and pick up Star Sapphire and Toy Man...

well i just bought el dorado so that helps me complete my super friends alonf with apache chief!

and with that I am DONE collecting DCUC!!!

I really only wanted a complete legion of doom, super friends, super powers collection and reign of supermen group.

I have all of those groups complete so I feel pretty good.

The only thing that would instantly make me buy it is doomsday redone at a larger size.
I want NA Skeletor and Rio Blast and I want them now!

I got the sub and have no desire for Doomsday, so seriously, he's yours if they issue him.

Aside from a few other random figures, those are my top priorities as well.

Interesting - so that's how we're moving ahead for now? Well, that's nice on my wallet - I have Batman Beyond and couldn't care less about that version of Plas, but Larfleeze and Superboy Prime look nice.

Now, if they'd just reveal who's going to be in that three-pack with SP Penguin!

But thats what usually happens with the all star figures, they are just re-releases of older hard to find figures e.g. batman, superman, wonder woman, shazam etc

Im glad were getting larfleeze and superboy-prime and im glad batman beyond is getting re-released. I havent read flashpoint and I got the SDCC plastic man so this new one is a miss for me
