How about that new Batman they added to wave 1? Looks pretty awesome.

Whatever the line is called, figures based on the DCUC style will continue for a while. Personally, I'm not all too interested since most of the stuff going forward will be based on the new stuff. But whenever they give us some throwbacks to 70's and 80's era stuff I might pick it up.

Yeah, especially since DCD's is not going to be out until Jan.

Mattel's nonsense has truly sapped my interest in this line. I love that I got some really cool figures that are currently gracing my shelf, but the stupidity with which this line is managed is mindboggling. I'm in for Red Robin and Poison Ivy, but I think I'm done after that.

DC is probably just as equally if not more to blame depending on the complaints.

I'd go ahead and throw just as much blame at DC. A very good share of the problems in the DCUC line came from them, particularly later in the line (demanding focus on current stories like the Rainbow Lanterns and such). But I'm completely with you on being over it, though . I just got Waves 19 and 20. I now have it up with all my others, from the Batman '03 that I haven't replaced (Killer Croc and Mr. Freeze) to DC Superheroes (Batgirl, Brainiac, chrome shield Steel, Mongul and an Osito-bearing Bane) and DC Universe Classics. There are very few DCUCs that I'm unwillingly missing, just a handful of Wave 14 (all I really want out of that one that I don't have is a completed Ultra Humanite) and all of Wave 18 (I wants me that Anti-Monitor and all, but there's not a single figure in that wave that I'm OK with plunking down the money for just to get him) and some exclusives. I love, love, LOVE this line, but I'm done. There's not a single figure that has/had been solicited in the DCU/All Stars line that I have any interest in. Club Infinite Earths only has Poison Ivy and Jay Garrick coming in the next year that I have any interest in. I look at my shelves and can't see many others that I am willing to endure the nonsense to get. I've been all-in with both MOTUC and Mattel DCU. One of them has to give and unfortunately DCU is closer to my plug-pulling hand. I've got enough frustrations just trying to get my MOTUCs, and the distribution there is fairly straightforward. I don't need even more one-hour sellouts, preorders unceremoniously cancelled for reasons unknown, highly anticipated figures suddenly and mysteriously disappearing into the ether, figures shown at trade events and Cons that aren't actually planned for release and having to fight the scalpers at retail. Aside from the previously mentioned figures, I have a bead on incredibly good prices for Adam Strange/Starfire, Lobo and The Wonder Twins with Gleek. After that I think I can pretty much close the book on DCU.

I cannot think that way. I want Black Mask, Poison Ivy, Jay, Metron, and Platinum and Tin from the announced sub figures. I want Larfleeze, I want the New52 figures (especially Aquaman), I want non-statue Flashpoint figures, and I want the rest of Apokolips. I want Ras'al Ghul, Talia, Vandal Savage, a big Killer Croc, a big Doomsday, I need Steel, Cassie Batgirl, non-Tiger Woods clothes wearing Brainiac, Emerald Empress and the rest of the Fatal Five, Shadowlass, Dawn Star, Bouncing Boy, regular Scarecrow, Ressurection Man, Anton Arcane, El Diablo, Abigail Arcane, Cinnamon, Bat Lash, El Papagayo, future Hex, Turnbull, Telluhlah Black, Damian Robin, **** Batman, Static Shock, Blight, Curare, Inque, Spellbinder, Warhawk, Future Superman, the Justice Lords, the Royal Flush Gang, the rest of the Metal Men and Doom Patrol, Terra, Ravager, and the list goes on and on.

Dr. Kain, you may be the first person I've ever seen whose want list includes El Papagoyo, and for that I salute you. (I'm actually serious!...I think the most extreme off-the-D-list figures on my want list are Zauriel and some of the older colorful Bat-rogues...Spellbinder, Signalman, Crazy Quilt, etc.!)

Sadly... looking at the Infinite Earths figures, I'm really feeling buyer's remorse. The only one I REALLY want is Jay. Mirror Master and Ivy are classics, but I already know I have no place to put them. Starman could go with the JSA, I guess, but I could easily live without him. I didn't buy any of the other Metal Men, so Platinum and Tin have no interest. I hate Black Mask! I have almost no interest in modern characters like Atrocitus. I was hoping for more "classic" characters. Satellite Era Zatanna, Elongated Man... modern Vixen and Huntress. Can you cancel a sub once you've already committed to it?

Thanks. As you can see, I am a huge Hex fan. He is the reason I enjoy Westerns and loved Red Dead Redemption. Okay, RDR was an incredible game, but I was really only interested in it because of my interest in Hex initiallly.

Holy gas saver, Batman! If Larfleeze is included with the sub, then I won't have to hunt for him. Rock on convenience.

matty is selling wave 20 on 3/15 for...$18.

er...i saw this wave at target for $14.99 the other day. no addt shipping.

i'm sure they will sell out of them, but that price point seems pretty steep. i don't even think tru sells them for that much.

Yeah plus Wave 20 has been out at Target for over a month now. Not sure they're restocking, but if you hunted the last few weeks, you could have found them all.

$18 a piece? That is insane, especially since they make you buy that worthless plastic that is WL Flash in this wave in order to completely Nekron.

I wouldn't be stunned if Mattel were to put them up for that price and throw in the scythe as an exclusive.

Though to be honest, I haven't seen anything post Wave 17 on shelves around here.

EDIT: Merged this thread with the existing DCUC thread.

I've seen them at both Walmart and Target.

I usually get Waves off Matty because I don't have to hunt around. I hope they last awhile. I would have gotten Wave 20, but they literally told me they we selling it a week ago, instead of a few months. Bummer, because Red Arrow and Green Arrow are the hardest figures to find. I'll get them at retail individually or when I have the money for all of them at once.

It just says it's being reported this could be more people talking about the BBTS email. Mattel themselves have still not said anything which in of itself is neither good nor bad. But the way people are reacting it's not good.

My LSC got wave 20 the other day so I picked up a Reverse Flash, overall he's a pretty good figure (though why we couldnt of had him way earlier is a mystery- even as a variant to the normal flash back in wave 7 instead of blue aquaman)

Im hope we get confirmation soon about what is happening to the line though

It just depends on the Walmart. There is one on the West side of town that goes cheap on clearance. But the one of the 3 closest to me have theirs with red clearance tags marked and $16.98
