I have six Targets within reasonable distance from me and that's been around the price on all Mattel 6" figures at three of them for as long as I've lived here (2 years now). The clearance prices are forty cents cheaper across the board, with those three stores originally being $19.99 for the 6", $24.99 for the Young Justice 6", $39.99 for the Batman Legends 2-packs and $11.99 for the YJ 4". The other three have them at $14.99, $19.99, $29.99 and $8.99 respectively, with them currently all being forty cents cheaper from clearance. Even the Hasbro stuff is different between the stores, though. Marvel Legends are priced the same (when they even stock them) as the DCUC 6" ($20 at half and $15 at the rest) and the 3 3/4" are $11.99 at half and $8.99 at the rest. Star Wars are $8.99 (Clone Wars) and $9.99 (Vintage) at half and $10.99 (Clone Wars) and $11.99 (Vintage) at the other half. Where I came here from (Boise, ID) had three different Targets and they all had consistent pricing, so I didn't even catch on to this until about six months in. I'm willing to bet that it has less to do with the price from the manufacturer and it's just what they think they can get for them in that area.

Those are gorgeous. I just got my Wave 2, actually...Mad Hatter's a little disappointing based on the price point, and I'm kind of ticked that they didn't include stands (or Riddler's glasses), but otherwise, these are really fantastic figures.

After the Deluxes and Wave 3 come out - if I can get Talia and Hugo Strange, I'll be pretty happy, though I wouldn't say no to a DCDirect Two-Face or a Deadshot. And there was rumor about a giant Grundy, but that was a while ago and I haven't heard anything since.

Dr. Kain - I think I'm in the same boat...my Spector still hasn't shipped, but since we know Flash and Spector are both delayed, I'm going to optimistically hope that the two of them ship out together.

Is it really that hard for DCD to give their figures the same amount of leg articulation Mattel does? Ras and Azreal look awesome, but I am done with DC's actual figures due to their lackluster articulation and fragile joints, especially when they don't have the common courtesy to offer replacements when one breaks 23 minutes after you buy it.

Uh no. I bought Damian Robin the day it came out, and it was the last one at the comic store. I opened him up, I go to pose him and his arm snapped off. I called DCD's number on their site and was told they do not offer refunds or replacements on their products. They said the comic store can try to get a replacement in if they want to, but if there are none available at Diamond's warehouse, then they can't replace it. I still have this broken Robin because nobody "can" replace it. I spent $22 on a piece of crap.

I've also had my Hush Harley's arm and leg break off, Hush Joker's gun break, AA Scarecrow's waist snapped when I went to twist his body so it would be straight.

Why would you call DC Direct and not the comic store that sold it to you?

Because DCD made the figure, they sell the figure to the stores, therefore, they are responsible for it breaking. Also because the comic store told me to contact them because they are only given one shipment of the figures and have never been allowed to get replacements, and they even tried for Robin and were told no more were available.

I haven't had any problems with DC Direct figures, either, but it does seem like bad form that they're not involved in helping you to at leats get a refund.

My Damien is still fine and guarding my comic shelf.

Hate to hear that these figures don't have stands, however. The first series did, right?

An Arkham City wave 4 is definitely needed: Talia, Two-Face, Deadshot, Nightwing all need to be made. I'm sure another Batman will be thrown in for good measure, as well.

The Arkham Series is definitely surpassing the Hush series as my favorite Batman line ever. Now hopefully the next batman game introduces Batgirl (I know Oracle is in the game, but I just love Babs as Batgirl), Batwoman, and more villians so that we can get awesome action figure versions of them!

If you buy Stinkor off eBay or bbts and he shows up broken, Matty will not give you a refund. Your comic book store is responsible.

It doesn't matter, DCD should take some responsibility since they don't send stores enough to cover defective figures.

Man, I still can't believe that we don't have a Vixen or Huntress figure(s).

Has anyone had a charge show up for their Flash yet? I checked my credit card and I did not see anything on it from Mattel or Digital River.

Mattycollector might not, but Mattel will if it is there product. I've had a few DCUC figures and other Mattel items that I returned through Mattel's customer service due to defects. They asked if returning the item back to the retailer was a possibility, and when I told them it wasn't, they typically sent me a voucher for MSRP of the item if they couldn't replace it. This is actually pretty standard for a lot of toy companies. I guess Mattel is really the only modern company I've had defects with, but this was pretty standard with McFarlane and Galoob in the late 90's.

Most companies do stand behind their products and a good number of consumer product companies handle their own returns. I always notice on items the phrase "if defective, do not return to store- contact manufacturer" Often, they can fix or replace the product for less of a loss than having a customer return it and not repurchase something from their company.

If I bought something from a comic shop that was a recent reail item and wasn't able to return it or couldn't, I'd probably call the company as well.

bbts has cancelled 6 inch Young Justice Batman after hearing from Mattel. There's tons of him on eBay from China though. I suggest snagging one before the price goes up.

I had to email Matty about my DC sub, and they said they didn't get a full shipment, they didn't know when they will get any, and they are sorry. It's been delayed so much now this, I am afraid they will have toruble seeling 2013 subs unfortunately. Disappointing.

I just got the Email that my Flash Figure is shipping...but the math is off, and i hope it's because Metron is included, but they could put my heart at peace by COMMUNICATING better:

Product Name Qty Ordered Qty Shipped Total Qty Shipped Amount
    Club Infinite Earths 2012 Subscription - Initial Figure 1 1 1 $15.00
    Shipping: $8.70
    Total: $57.33

I got that too and thought the same thing. However that appears to only be shipping for the one figure. I think they are just charging us now for the club exclusive and sending it later. I think I remember them saying that from like 15 years ago when they first announced this sub.

the biggest frustration with the clubs is the POOR COMMUNICATION. And when I ask others on some boards, I get railed because I don't know. I don't get these secret emails. The recent email about Mekaneck, I NEVER GOT! It's mind-numbingly frustrating when I don't know what everyone else seems to know.
The conundrum here is: Is Mattel charging for Metron, or are they just SUCKING at MATH? and if they are charging for a toy NOW without sending it, it just seems wrong.
So, I'm not the only one getting the half-azzed emails from Matty.
Oh, and I watched the Pixel Dan review of Metron, and that chair is SO going to be Zodac's!!

This is good and uncomfortable. No mention of the DC sub (or any sub as a separate order) in my Order History as well as no email about my Infinite Earth subscription even renewing let alone shipping. Geesh. You'd think with so many months after January, they had enough time to work out delays.

My order history went blank over the weekend, but this morning I got my shipping confirmation for Flash. Interestingly, I was not charged shipping, but he is coming in a different box from the two regular MOTUC figures and Spector.

The shipping confirmation links to the same Newgistics page as the Star Sisters, though (their shipping progress is at the bottom of the screen, marked as delivered. ) Never seen that before.

I never got an order confirmation at all for my DC sub. It's like I didn't even order it. Its fine really, as outside of Poison Ivy I'm really not thrilled with the line up. Ill try my luck on day of sale or get them off of BBTS

So reading this made me realize I hadn't received any emails about my Infinite Earths sub either. There's no recent record of it on the orders page, however there is a tracking number on my original order back in August and it seems to be in Sparks, NV right now along with my MOTUC figures (which have a separate tracking number). So hopefully it actually arrives.

When is Metron supposed to ship, btw?

I think the $30 is the subscription charge that I believe is applied to the Metron. Mine is in Sparks, NV too. Mine shipped out early Saturday 5/19, but the estimated delivery date is 5/31-6/1. So I guess $8.70 in shipping only buys 9-10 business day shipping???
