No, Gordon comes with a variant broken-signal lens. You don't need him to build the basic signal. Catwoman comes with the roof base, and it is assumed that Blake and the TBD figures come with the lens and battery/back for the actual signal.

Yeah, I'm not buying any of the MM figures until I see all 6 out on the shelf at the same time. I will not be tricked again like I was with the Green Lantern line.

Well then I have been saved from spending $120. I can no longer trust Mattel with BAF items after Green Lantern's fiasco last year.

Those of us who imported that 2005 Bat Signal Batman from the old 4HM line already have a fantastic, comic-accurate bat signal...

While Batman does do well, having him packed almost twice the other characters in a case that is mostly aimed at collectors isn't the best of ideas.

I do think it's just a bit more likely that Mattel will release the 6 DKR figures w/ BAF parts, especially considering 4 of those parts are already out (5 if you count Gordon's broken lens) for a movie that still doesn't come out for almost a month and is pretty much a guaranteed blockbuster.

Green Lantern was 15 parts spread over 5 waves (Right?) for a movie that was questionable featuring many characters that no one knew who they were (lots of the background aliens and such)and a build a figure that wasn't all that appealing.

the dcuc tru batman sold like wildfire. there is reason to think batman will sell well. the peg warmers (that i see) from the TDK and Batman legacy 6" line that i see are harvey dent (MM), old catwoman (BL), and 2 packs (which don't sell well due to price...and i can't recally the last time i saw a 2 pack with batman sitting around...just the one with the MM bruce wayne in his pre-batman costume).

Haven't had any luck finding Catwoman yet, but supposedly when the second wave hits she'll be in greater supply. I'm not worrying about it too much, since I'll have to track down Blake and the TBD figure eventually anyway.

I didn't say he shouldn't be overpacked, and I didn't mean he was double the other individual characters he's double all the other characters in the assortment. I may also be in an unusual spot since Batman is more likely to move than other figures but can still peg warm because he is often overpacked. The current line we are talking about I haven't seen Catwoman, I see a Bane, and a couple of Batmen. Sure the movie hasn't come out yet but he also isn't doing that much better than the other figures.

Dr. Kains problem is he wants to easily get the the collection, Batman is only ever a problem to get when he is packed just like other figures. Catwoman being packed one to a case means she will be hard to find.

All I was going to suggest was drop one of the Batman's and replace it with a single Catwoman. Or done two assortments, for example a Batman only and then a villains with 5 Bane 3 Catwoman. I wasn't expecting 1:1:1.

Also I had a feeling they might be over doing Batman at first, then a second assortment would lower his number to be replaced by other characters .

Who does everyone think the TBD figure will be? I've heard Ra's al Ghul tossed around, as well as a variant of Officer Blake (possibly in a Batsuit?) I doubt we'd get someone like Rachel in the mass market waves.

Why would we want worthless characters like Blake? In fact, I still don't understand why we are getting Levett's character. Why would I want to own a politician when there are far more important characters to release? Unless Levett's character is really Hugo Strange or Ras in a restored body, I see no reason for him to have a figure one bit.

You've not seen the movie yet. For all we know, he has a huge action role in the movie which would warrant his inclusion. If you don't know if you want him, then you certainly don't have to buy him - at least until you see the movie.

As far as I'm concerned, if they can justify making a Michael-Caine-in-a-suit figure with no accessories, even if he is a main character, then a 'hero cop' character isn't a problem, especially if he ends up central to the story.

Here we go again. Remember last time you complained about this? I showed you that you could order all of the GL movie masters from Amazon and BBTS for less than the retail price. You could have them shipped straight to your door, yet you still complained because you couldn't find them at brick and mortar retail stores. All of the Parallax BAF pieces were readily available from multiple sources. I don't understand why you expect to find them all at the same store at the same time. Mattel never promised that.

The movie figures are now hiding in plain sight at Barnes and Nobles.

Well it worked. I used the Barnes and Nobles trick and grabbed an Alfred.

Oh god damn it!! I hate it when I am right. I just pulled my Swamp Thing off his stand for the first time in 7 months and the skin tore when I moved his lower arm straight out. I tins't bad, as you can't really notice it if you aren't looking, but this guy is not going to last 5 years.

Found a Alfred at KMart yesterday! I freaked out. Dont really want Batman (its the same at TDK one right?) so hope I can pick up his signal part down the road. Its kinda neat to finally own a Alfred!

I think there are a few paint deco differences, but it's the same sculpt as far as I can tell. His signal part will surely be the easiest to come by, so you shouldn't have a problem.

From what I've read, it seems like Catwoman's been showing up more now, so I may actually start hunting for her. (Goggles up, please.)

Dr. Kain - good find. I saw Sportmaster and Artemis down to $15 a few weeks ago, but that was still more than I wanted to spend. I'd pick them up for $6, though.
