I found my KM about a month ago in Robinson, so I'm not hurting for HIM, but I do need one for this trade.

Got my Hawkman, Mr. Miracle, Dr. Impossible & Killer Moth I ordered from Impulse Creations today. Near perfection! Killer Moth's chest emblem is a *little* off, so I'll buy a replacement if I ever see him on pegs, but everyone else is great! Good paint apps and correct limbs/parts. Now if I can find the other 3 from this wave, I can go back to catching up on Wave 5, and looking out for the Wave 7 variants. (I have Wave 7 pre-ordered, but with the e-tailer variant screw-ups on Mattel's end, I'll need to find a helmetless Barda, and I dunno which Booster I'll get whenever they ship....)

I am just thankful that the quality is improving. I actually have a wave that has no problems. My favorite from the new line so far has to be Hawkman and Captain Marvel. The 4H just captured their essence so well.

I'm hoping to get wave 7 soon, but my wallet needs a rest.

I sort of got lucky or rather a friend of mine did. He was in Anaheim on Sunday and he happened on some wave 7 figures. He found a Big Barda and Captain Cold for himself, but he did find 2 Flash figures and he hooked me up with one.

Hopefully I'll get my hands on the rest later. I know Big Barda is a bit short, but I think he's actually one of the stand outs in this line. She's a beautiful figure and goes nicely with her hubby Mr. Miracle.

A buddy of mine picked up a Mothman, Hawkman, and both versions of Superman for me. Now I just need Shazam to complete Kalibak!!!! And also Dr. Impossible and the whole wave will be complete!!! and I will have the whole line once again..until wave 7 hits by me.

So did anybody read up on the panel today? DCUC wave 9 announced for summer 2009:

Black Adam
Black Canary (with REAL fishnets)
Deadshot
Green Arrow
Guardian
Mantis (50% comic likeness - 50% Super Powers robotic look)
Wildcat (black outfit standard - blue outfit chase)
CnC = Chemo

-The brown Man-Bat will be in Wave 10
-As was confirmed earlier, ANOTHER Wal-Mart exclusive wave this year
-Ultraman/Alex Luthor 2-pack on Mattycollector on 4/15
-Supposedly Wave 8 will have a mini Atom figure packed in with someone. (TNI says Giganta, but we all know she's the CnC)
-A new DCUC Joker was hinted at (again)
-No DCUC Jason Todd planned at this time
-Any characters from comics or TV are available
-Flight stands are possibly in the works
-Possibility of an all "army builder" wave for DCUC
-Still saying civilian characters in DCUC are a possibility
-5 waves of DCUC in 2009 (Not sure if that includes the Wal-Mart wave or not)
-Possible box sets for DCUC
-DCUC Green Arrow has special articulation that allows him to properly hold his bow & arrows

From talking to Toyguru last year at SDCC, the Joker and a few other figures have been long waiting in the wings. Black Canary was around for a long while inside the vault waiting. I'm actually glad that they are going to see the light of day soon enough.

I'm also waiting for Martian Manhunter and Zatanna to appear. I need to finish my Justice League of America collection.

It looks like they dropped the mid-thigh artic on Canary, and she'll just have hip, knee & boot-top movement. Still hope it doesn't mangle the fishnets.

I smell a hooded Green Arrow/Black Canary 2-pack down the road. (Hopefully they'd lose the blue on Canary's legs for the more modern look.) Maybe they'll sculpt a new head for Canary with a "Sonic Screech" expression....

Just read on Action-figures.com that The Joker will be a SDCC exclusive. Is that right? That sucks! But I guess he'll be available through Matty. So that takes a sting out of it a bit. But why make him an exclusive?

I'm glad the Joker is getting redone. The old fig is way too small, under articulated, and lacking in accessories.

But he shouldn't be an exclusive.

On good news, I completed my Wave 6 today! Stumbled into a Wal-Mart I hadn't been to in like 5 years, and they just stocked the pegs with 2 full cases. Hopefully Wave 5 will get stocked sometime by me.....

HOLY CRAP! Just saw this on Fwoosh, and I REALLY hope it's legit. Sounds like we have the makings of this year's SDCC exclusive:

Most of the Wave 2 figures that shipped from the NEW factory are much worse quality than the initial batch released from the old factory almost a year ago.

I also hit a Meijer today, and they were swamped with 11 Green Lanterns, 1 Red Supes, 1 long hair Aquaman, & 1 modern Firestorm.
