If true, that'll be the first C&C figure I pass on. Doomsday is in need of an upgrade far more than Darkseid.

Only Copperhead and maybe Desaad interest me.

I have to disagree, assuming the rumored line up is true, I'm very happy about Mary Marvel, Spectre, Dr. Mid-Nite, Copperhead & Desaad. Iron, I'm cautious about - I want all 6 of the Metal Men, so if they're going to start making them I hope they can finish the team.

Eclipso's never been a terribly interesting villain to me, but I'll get him - he's just not someone I have a lot of interest in. And I'd have rather seen Doomsday or Bane get a C&C treatment before Darkseid, so the CNC is the least interesting part of this wave for me.

yeah i really would want a doomsday CaC before a darkseid but with the unofficial theme being New Gods i can see taht they would want to go out with a bang on with him.

i really only want desaad from this line up. all the rest of the figures i will trade away.
I want NA Skeletor and Rio Blast and I want them now!

Unlike most of you guys, I was DYING for a C+C Darkseid. He was my number one choice! I'm just not interested in a lot of these subsets they are starting to work into the lineup. I guess my main area of interest has always been the JLA and Titans. I've never really cared for the Green Lantern Corps (too homogenized visually, although I do like the comic) and don't think I've ever read a Metal Men or Doom Patrol comic. Also, as stated before, I don't really care about the Shazam characters, except Isis and that's because of the Filmation show and Freedom Force cartoon. I mean as a DCU fan, I definitely see the merit of offering all these various characters, but with money tighter these days, I just don't know that I necessarily care about completing the entire DCU. Maybe once the actual figures are unveiled, I'll be more tempted. I don't care about the Doom Patrol, but that Robot Man looks amazing and I'll probably end up getting him, regardless.

LOL, you know what though? The characters I'd punch my mom in the face for would be ones that most everybody considers losers, Samurai, Black Vulcan and a C+C Apache Chief! I know they're coming out in the JLU line. I hope eventually they make it into DCUC. I'd even buy El Dorado, even though I've always thought his costume was hideous.

I'm happy for Darkseid, believe me, and I want Desaad too. But a lot of these...no, I'm not that excited about and probably won't be until I see some pictures. Copperhead, Eclipso, and Dr. Midnight just weren't on my 'hope to see soon' list.

It's nice that they have these side groups with Robot Men and Shazam and Doom Patrol in the way...I mean in the mix. But as far as I'm concerned, they haven't finished New Gods, nor have they revisited Aquaman or Wonder Woman's rogues galleries which they started back in the early waves. Since I haven't seen some of my favorite GL characters, I kind of suspect that a wave twenty-something could happen before we ever get to them. At least the waves are coming out faster. Like everything I suppose that's a mixed blessing, I had to go to Urban Collector for 9 because I didn't expect it to be out so soon after wave 8.

Hello, this is an interesting tidbit I learned that I figured I'd pass along. I live in So. Cal. and I went to Frank N' Sons, a local toy show here on Saturday. (BTW I met Seth Green there as he was just doing some shopping. Awesomely cool guy!) Anyways, I was talking to one of the vendors about the DC Universe figures. He told me Mattel is being very selective about who they are sending future waves to as he has not gotten waves 8 or beyond and he has an account with them. I guess they will soon be selling the DC Universe figures online, just like the MOTUC figures and that's where the $3 markup will really take effect. BTW anybody have a lead on the Gift Pack or when wave 10 will be out as I need them, Thanx Paul~

Mary Marvel (With a White Suit variant)
    Dr Midnight

The build a figure is supposed to be Darkseid.
    This can't be right...
Who is the big character who is selling this Wave? Everyone is obscure...

Most of the reliable outlets are reporting this line up, so I'd be very surprised if this wasn't accurate. I don't think every wave is going to have a characters from the major franchises, as the brand is now old enough to produce more characters outside of the common recognizable characters. I think it's a win for collectors, because we get our hands on figures that otherwise may not have seen the light of day.

I've read the reports that The Spectre is the figure that will come with a base instead of a C&C piece, so I guess, by default, he's the "headliner".

True, I believe the need for a new major character each wave has been lessened due to the reissues of figures like Batman, Superman, GL, WW, etc.....

yup the fact the instituted the "all star" treatment sort of negates a headliner since they can just back in a batman or superman or whomever they choose.

everyone wins. i win since i dont need to buy yet another repaint of a figure i already have(looking at you ocean camo aquaman) to complete a CaC figure and mattel gets to shoe horn in a popular character so wal-mart/target will buy the cases.

I was shocked to see that The super Walmart near me now has pegs for DCUC figures. Thank god! So now here's hoping the Box set will be there soon! And any of the other exclusives.

Finally saw the Wal-Mart five pack today. I also picked up a variant Big Barda after months of looking. I am really dreading the price increase, because I love these figures.

As was stated, the 5-pack is $54.99.

I've seen the figures listed individually loose on ebay go for anywhere from $10-$35.

Does anyone have any C&C parts they're looking to unload? I need:
    Gorilla Grodd right arm
Kalibak left arm, left leg, and torso (with club)
Atom Smasher right arm and upper torso
    Giganta everything except the arms
Chemo right leg (since I'm not interested in the classic version of Guardian)

BTW, if anyone collects Marvel Legends, I have a Ronan the Accuser leg from the rare Silver Surfer for trade.

If nine hundred He-Man.Org members get eaten by Thundercats fans, but neither of them has a toyline, does it still count as a fan movement?

I'm startled that Dr. Mid-Nite isn't the modern Pieter Cross version but the original! Sigh, those do look pretty good. Dang it! I might be getting them all, after all.

Thanks for the shots, Mega. I definitely want the Spectre, and I do think I want Eclipso...although I need to see a bit more detail on him.
