Anybody else see all the hub-bub about the supposed leaks about Wave 16 and the 'mystery wave' that online retailers got yesterday?

Supposedly, the leaked wave is a Green Lantern Classics sub-line - but after initially being allowed to put that up for pre-order, BBTS, ETC and CSC had to yoink it down to 'mystery wave', before having to pull it entirely. Apparently DC's none too happy that the news is out this soon.

At any rate, according to what I've read, the line-up is:
    GL Kyle Rayner
    Mongul
    Black Hand
    Black Lantern (who is unknown)
Sinestro Low Maash (presumably either Low or Maash, members of the Sinestro Corps)
    Manhunter
    C&C: Arkillo

    And Wave 16 is supposedly:
    Azrael as Batman
    Robin (Classic)
    Mercury
    Creeper
    Jonah Hex
    Riddler
    C&C: Bane

So they're going down to six figures per wave it seems, but what bums me out about this is that neither wave has any female characters.

Pass on the GL wave entirely. I'd have gone for a St. Walker or Star Sapphire, but none of the ones they chose. And shouldn't Mongal have also been a c+c?

Robin only from the second list, unless Riddler is wearing his leotard costume.

I just got Wave 13, and after the disappointment of Cheetah and Wondergirl, I think the Horsemen need to go back to the drawing boards on their female sculpts. These two have such gummy, useless hips that I frankly don't care to see anymore female characters in the line. That's bad for me!

Otherwise, Kyle! Arkillo! Manhunter! Finally! Still waiting on Atrocitus, Star Saphire, Ion/Sodam Yat, and Parallax(Kyle and Hal), but otherwise that's a great line up! 16 is not too bad either, but I am shocked that Doomsday is still not a CnC. I'm wondering what they are planning with Mongul. I just got the 2-pack with him from TRU, so I sure hope it's not just a repaint of the same figure (that would be his third release!). Riddler must be the leotard version, what with wave 5 getting rereleased soon. That or both him and Mongul are misleads. I hope they rerelease the Scarecrow and Mr. Freeze though, I never got them.

Without any females listed, I'd take these with a grain of salt.

However, a classic Grayson Robin & classic leotard Riddler are MUCH needed at this point! If the Wave 16 list turns out to be true, I would hope that they'd FINALLY include a Poison Ivy or Huntress as the female in this Bat-Centric wave.....

If that GL wave is in the DCUC style, I'm sold!

The only one I don't want is Mongul because he was already released in the DCSH line. But Kyle, AzBats, Robin, Arkillo, SC members .... I could cry with joy!

Technically they are different characters. The DCSH figure was Mongul Sr. while this is Mongul Jr. of the Sinestro Corps.

I hope Wave 16 turns out to be true, as I want everyone on that list. A Creeper figure, yes!

So Wave 16 is a Batman Wave?

Az-Bats??? Wow. Mattel sure loves the 90's era...

    Riddler 2?
Bane should be pretty cool, so should Classic Robin.

Jonah Hex? Just in time for the DVD...

When are we gonna get a Wonder Woman wave? I guess Wave 13 is it with Cheetah and Donna Troy. Or a Flash wave? We need more Rogues.

I would LOVE a Wonder Woman wave. Circe, Silver Swan, Dr Psycho, and Dr Poison all would be awesome additions to the line. I wouldn't hold my breath though. Considering that Wonder Woman was pretty much a peg warmer figure, I'd bet on Mattel not wanting to invest too much in her enemies

I do eventually see them doing a Flash Rogue Wave. Why we still don't have a Professor Zoom (which really, would just be a repaint) is beyond me. But getting Mirror Master, Weather Wizard, Trickster, Pied Piper would all be great to have represented.

A boxed set of Rogues would be great... maybe with a Wally Flash? Maybe Flash'll take off the way Green Lantern did and be a more viable character. I wouldn't mind them redoing Captain Cold. There was so much wrong with that figure, the treads on his feet make it hard for him to stand, his gun doesn't fit in his hand well, the icicle part of his jacket covers his shoulders, limiting their movement and the white parts of his uniform are gray! What do they have against white? First Harley Quinn's face is BLUE, then Cold's parka and accessories are gray for no apparent reason.

I'm sure there will be at least one more Wonder Woman release, modern Wonder Girl. Not sure which costume they will go with. I'm not really sure why they went with the 90s leather jacket look for Superboy... I guess to make him compatible with the Reign of the Supermen figures. Hopefully they'll also issue the modern day look at some point.

Speaking of re-issues, I hope they eventually issue Zatanna in her Perez-designed outfit.

I know the odds are against it, but that was the costume I grew up with her wearing. I don't think she ever even wore that magician's costume with the fishnets after she joined the JLA. If I recall correctly, when she joined, she immediately donned that light blue outfit with the red cape. (Yuck!) I know guys love a gal in fishnets, but let's not rewrite history!

In my area, Wonder Woman only peg warmed in the re-release. Otherwise, in Wave 4, her initial release, she shold theough pretty consistently.

I picked up a Copperhead yesterday at my local comic shop. Great figure, and I can't pass up a Hawkman villain!

I'm willing to bet we won't see many rogues, Wally Flash, or many other Flash characters until the movie is ready to hit (in 3-D! ) in 2012. If we can just wait two more years, we'll be rewarded...

I think it'll be sooner. DC just relaunched FLASH (with a Rogue's Gallery story, no less) and they've been teasing FLASHPOINT for 2011, with some talk that it *may* be the next DC Event.

More Flash Rogues in this line is personally welcomed, but probably not high on Mattel's short-list. Especially after the way Captain Cold warmed pegs.....

Even with Captain Cold's less than stellar sales, I'm still amazed we have not seen Reverse-Flash yet - and really hope Mattel rectifies that sooner rather than later. Other Rogues would be great, but I can wait for those.

I'm sure that just like Blue Beetle and the Cyborg Superman, Superboy's modern look will get a figure (particularly since he'll be wearing it in the new Young Justice series by the looks of the promo art), but I personally don't like his tee-shirt and jeans "costume." It's too Smallville for me. I actually prefer his costume without the jacket--a look he had for a year or two. They could even make a Match figure out of that one. The only problem with the wave 13 Superboy figure is that his glasses are glued on.

How about an old school Superboy with Krypto as an accessory? That would rock.

Ooo! That is a great idea!

I also don't care for the jeans and tee shirt look for super heroes, but Superboy's 90s costume is just so trendy and silly looking now. But it isn't as bad as Supergirl's white tee Spice Girls/Britney costume.

OK, now that I see the wave, I think it's actually quite eyecatching:

Batman: OK, so it's not comic-accurate, but it was a one-page appearance anyway. Certainly colorful enough.
Martian Manhunter: FINALLY!!! (Could not care less about the variant.)
Raven: Another great looking, much-wanted figure.
Starman: Way to knock this one out of the park - I'm happy to get the classic Starman, but that Jack Knight figure's going to make a lot of people happy.
Golden Pharaoh: They managed to make a bland SP figure really eye-catching.
Jemm & OMAC: Well, I'm not totally psyched about either of these, but at least they're colorful. Don't really feel a need for either, but will get them since I order by the set anyway. A little surprised to see the classic OMAC, as opposed to the modern.
    Validus: Really neat looking.

So there are a couple of slots in this wave that I'd rather have seen go to other characters, but at least it's a variety!

I have given up on collecting this series as a whole collection. I am thinking of just trying for Favorites only, likely might sell all of the ones I currently have and start from scratch. Need to think more on it but Trigon does look awesome, as does Raven

YAY- AT LAST MY ANIMATED JUSTICE LEAGUE WILL BE COMPLETE! AND I'LL BE ONE STEP CLOSER TO COMPLETING THE PEREZ/WOLFMAN TEEN TITANS!

The rest of the figs look good- not to keen on starman and jemm (as I know nothing about the characters)
Im not to bothered about SC batman- there havent been to many of him so far (hopefully that will stay the same for other variants)

I wont mind the GL subline- as long as they dont release them at the same time as the regular wave or it will be to expensive.

I alos definetly would love more of the rogues- especially weather wizard(with variant new costume) heatwave and mirror master. hopefully now barry allen is back the flash will become DC's next big property (after green lantern)

I would not mind collecting all of the titans. And with Raven released I think that makes for a nice chunk of them out. I know of Robin, Nightwing, Cyborg, and now Raven. Have there been any others released of the Titans/Teen Titans teams??
