if only. we at cotu are an unstoppable machine of creation. we actually have to scrap more ideas then we show due to not wanting to exploit a mold too much. but we try to maek many different one shots to showcase the endless possiblities even in the most limited molds.Originally Posted by DestrongerLupus

Wow, it sounds like you guys really had to work hard to get him put together! I just wanted to say that I totally appreciate it, and love how he turned out. Now the Masters have an undersea warrior, and the Crusties expand as a race of beings!were glad to bring him to life. he's been alongtime in the wiating. we pushed and pushed but in the end we had to do a c-section and he's here in the world of the living

leave the board fort alone, it is a citadel of evil to be sure...and a lot more menacing than the sink that lays beyond it at my brothers house...
that is really the key creative concept at the heart of the original, classic MOTU...you take the arch types(good, evil, monster, robot, animal, etc) and mix and match them over and over to create new characters and representations of primordial themes and concepts...it just goes to show how good and powerful that modular concept is...too bad mattel just looked/looks at it from a business saving money perspective because it is really much more than just that...

this is the trick...gw is always buggin' me about overdoing it...
i am STILL bloody and bleeding from the effort and i deffinately need some stitches, but birthed he is...finally...
yeah, the clawful armor in particular has been a headache of headaches...didn't have much trouble with randor and hordak, but clawful's was a giant pain in the arse and i will be attempting to redo it here shortly...but, since i managed to get a few workable pieces out of my first mold i HAD to finish off SEE-SHELL who has been waiting to join the heroic warriors for quite some time...
you are more than welcome Glass Shrimp, as soon as we finish and unveil his more visible form i'll get both figures to you for your sponsorship...hopefully, two figs makes up for the unfortunately long amount of time it took to bring him to life...

glad you dig him!!! as soon as the stealth and regular versions are reunited i will get them both out to ya...
it is washed out a bit in the pic, but the mace, armor, and waist are a lighter translucent blue, his "flesh" parts are the "crystal" resin on the painted version...the fully invisible one is all 100% the "glass" resin with no paint aps...

Oh, yeah! I saw that, but I kind of thought it was just the "density" of those pieces altering the color, but the fact that he has some extra variety in his colors is totally awesome!

Yeah, the lighting turned out great, but it was all incidental! Dark backdrop, no flash, bright overhead light, fast shutter-speed (5/10ths to 7/10ths of a second.those are great pics, love the lighting effects...

He caught all the ambient light and the background (dark blue miniature floor-mat / carpet square kind of thing just turned to inky black behind him).
P.S. Here is the image that is inspiring my thoughts of Crabite...
