Vintage Still Best?

I'm curious to see if I'm the only one who still perfer the vintage line over the Classics - of course I'm not!

Which line do you like the most - way old or brand new?

I've got every Classics figure released so far except for king grayskull and I love the Classics line, but they will never take the place of the Vintage line for me. The Vintage toys will always be my favorite because I grew up with them.

The vintage figures were my favorites in my childhood; the modern ones are my favorites in my adulthood.

The memories I have with the vintage figures (and cartoon) growing up are something I haven't had with any other toy line, even MOTU reincarnations.

All the new stuff just keeps me mildly entertained as I search for vintage. I love getting a new MOTUC fig for sure, but when it's all said and done, they get put away or traded, while I continue to find better methods of presentation for my vintage stuff.

I'll be sure that my kids have enough of the old stuff to play with, and the books to read, and the DVDs to watch, and the puzzles, heck, anything I can find

vintage hands down! when mattel released the re-issues, i was in heaven! the 200X line was awesome too and of course the motuc line is cool too, but nothing can compare to the vintage line in my book!

Vintage all the way.I'm sure if Mattel continued the Commemorative line, the'd still be on fire today.Dont get me wrong,I love the Classics line,but I didnt grow up with those.

I have a gut feeling that if the Classics line keeps kicking as muthjo arse as it has so far,
Mattel are gonna take up on the Commemoratives with a Series 3, 4, ..., 6 ... aswell!
When it all comes down to it, the big gents at Mattel are all just plain old merchants,
if they see money earned somewhere, they'll thrown money that way!
Maybe we'll even see a renaissance for my beloved Stactions ...
... now, that would be FANTASTIC!

I'm all for the new stuff, honestly. Doesn't mean that I'm in it for the fact that they have more articulation and all that. If they did a new kids like with the same articulation as the originals but with the new sculpts and better accessories, then I'd be all over it! Otherwise, I don't think I'm ever gona buy any vintage stuff. Too expensive, and my old stuff has been in a box for ages. Then again, most of them were played to peices! As my earliest toys, they got the brunt of playtime and have lasted through all my action figures over the years (MotU fought superheros, C.O.P.S., Joes regardless of size...everything). So, eventually, they just became hard to play with when compared to everything else.

Nonetheless, if they did another batch of rereleases, I might get Skelly and He-Man for display. Might even display then next to my old, battered originals! Beyond that, though, I don't have any use for them.

The new MASTERS CLASSIC Collector Line are typically present Action Figures and better looking as the 200xer line - no more!

I love to collect the original vintage 80's MASTERS and PRINCESS OF POWER only!
Commemorative Series brought the memories back again.
My great wish is that MATTEL continue the Commemoratives with MASTERS and bring some Specials back, like unmade toys HE-RO or prototype looking figures from catalogs also some vintage PRINCESS OF POWER toys...

I always dreaming, when I could make a time-travel to see the old toy-shops again with all vintage stuffs decorated with displays!

This heartbeat I have not with the new MASTERS CLASSIC!
