Great people to deal with: TRAPPER, Oz-Scott, RacerX, Rmfd79emt, Paugh, vpbpi, Royalt1us, Buffdaddyjk, SpydeR, Dr. Smith, Lord Anubis
Definitely. I've managed to scrounge up a few themes over the years, but would love a complete soundtrack, especially the individual character themes.
(Although I do love the Mask of the Phantasm score, especially the opening.)
"That's very interesting...but silly."
One of these days, now that I have the cable I needed, I'm going to capture the music from the Adventures of Batman & Robin SNES game, a great deal of which was taken from the show. It'll be better than nothing, anyway...

I too would love a soundtrack, I often whistle the Joker's theme...![]()
Well, it looks like the show is getting a complete series release:

I've watched a good amount of the episodes recommended in this thread so far. I did remember some of them like "Heart of Ice." They were all pretty good.
On Leather Wings is a big one for me.
I was at Comic-Con the summer before the show debuted and that was the episode they played for us. I remember an entire room full of people just sitting there absolutely stunned watching it.
I don't have my DVDs with me but I'm in love with the story in Volume 4 where Batgirl gets sprayed with some fear toxin, falls off a building and Gordon frees Bane from prison to take Bruce down. There's also one in Volume 4 where **** is telling Tim about how he stopped being Robin.
From the older ones, I enjoyed the episodes where Mayor Hill's son is "abducted" by the Joker on his birthday, Harley's Day Out, and The Sewer King. That last one was probably the closest story that drove Batman to the breaking point of taking a bad guy out himself almost like the Adrew Vachss novel "The Ultimate Evil."
I hate to sound like a downer, but I find those kinds of stories about child abuse and how the perpetrators get their come uppance to be pivotal, and in today's society, an absolute necessary. Although these stories often end on a very somber note, I'm glad to see those issues addressed in a way that can reach both children and adults.
Peace.

Any other fans of this remarkable work of art series? i always been a Batman fan since 89 and watched this show when i was 11 when the pilot first aired on prime time with "On Leather Wings" as it blew me away. Even my older brother who loves DC comics who was 20 at the time loved it as him and i would watch it together sometimes and even my mom sometimes would enjoy it as it was near prime time in my city and i would tape/watch it religiously, even as a teen i would watch/tape the WB 4th and 5th seasons.
Greatest toon of all time, bar none.
"You killed Captain Clown, YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN"-Joker.
I'm a great fan of BTAS!
I knew Batman with these cartoons and then I loved all other things about Batman!
I think BTAS was the greatest serie of Batman, who made possible the realization of all movies!
I knew Batman well before '89 and I thought this series was fantastic as well.

BTAS is my top favorite cartoon of all time (followed by The Simpsons and Gargoyles). There are so many great episodes, especially those that were direct adaptations of comic stories, especially those that were originally written by Denny O'Neil and Len Wein.
Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.
Evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
Merged this thread with the older one.
I absolutely love BTAS. I love the whole DCAU, pretty much, but the older 85-episode run of BTAS is the highlight for me. I've been a Batman fan since I was small (and Superfriends was still showing new eps), but even still BTAS opened up a whole world of characters I wasn't familiar with (Killer Croc and Ventriloquist, for example.) I think it came closest to nailing the characters of any adapation, and has become the benchmark for how I think of characters sounding. Kevin Conroy IS the voice of Batman, in my head.![]()

I loved this cartoon. This, at least based on my amateur knowledge, is the starting point of the character design style that has become so closely associated with WB's DC animation. It is neat for me to look at how the designs have evolved since this series.
Ask not for whom MOTUC is made, it's made for thee.
If you have to disclaimer your like, then you don't really like it.
There were a lot of Batman villians I did not know of until TAS. Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, Clayface, Scarface and Wesker, Dr Milo, Rupert Thorne, etc. In fact, BTAS was my true introduction to what Batman was really like in the comic book worled. I mean, I had watched the 89 movie a million times, and of course Returns once, but BTAS is where my love truly began.

Scarface was great, I wish he was in a few more episodes...
Still one of the best incarnations of Batman to this day.
Who else had a crush on Catwoman, Ivy and Harley growing up? i did when i was 8 for both Catwoman and Ivy with the comics before the show and Harley when i was 11 when she came to the show. Adrienne Barbeau was perfection as Catwoman and Arleen Sorkin had a cute voice for Harley.
The rest of the voice casting was awesome like Bull Shannon himself Richard Moll as Two-Face/Harvey Dent, Roddy Mcdowell as Mad Hatter, Henry Silva as Bane, Mark Hamil as Joker, and so much more guest stars.

"You killed Captain Clown, YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN"-Joker.
I recently bought the entire series, not because I like Batman because I don't, but because I am a fan of his rogues gallery
Upon watching them I come to realize one thing I had forgotten about. How short the episodes seem. Yes I know it was a 20 min toon but eps felt even shorter then that, they were almost "blink and miss them" short.
Still considering I only paid £10 for 28 episodes I can live with that especially considering I get to see 2 of my fave characters Man-Bat and Clayface![]()
Sorry but scrolling through. Did you guys NOT see this? Lalaland records - There are two BTAS soundtracks of orchestral already available! I picked up volume 2 at their booth. Worth EVERY DAMN PENNY:
