What if He-Man was filmed by CW?

Ever since the DC Heroes in CW, what if they adapted He-Man?

DC has only the licence to make the He-Man comics, they don't own He-Man, who still belongs at Mattel. It's not that can't be done, but it would need Mattel's condescension, and of course DC's and CW's will to invest on MOTU, for making it happen.

Like a live-action tv show on CW? I'd prefer an animated television show unless it can get on something like HBO and get a real budget. Some of those Vancouver shows have pretty tight budgets, so I'm not sure how MOTU would look on that type of budget.

It would star people so attractive they don't look real, and it would either last four episodes or 15 years.

I kinda meant how CW adapted DC Heroes.

    CW could do He-Man & She-Ra.

The problem is that the Masters of the Universe franchise is not taking place on Earth. All the CW's series starring DC characters are Earth based. Which means doesn't need much budget, a couple of costumes, and basic special effects it's what all it needs. With MOTU it's necessary to build alien or Fantasy enviroments, characters, and civilizations. Which means more money. Though in theory somehing similar to the 90's Hercules's series or the Mortal Kombat tv series could be done. With better CGI it could work well.

it'd be full of young, attractive people; a "Scooby gang"; secret identities that aren't so secret; shot in Vancouver (which depending on the overall tone good be either a good or bad thing).
it would also depend what direction they take: a more Superhero approach or a Medieval fantasy approach.

Exactly. The CW does some amazing things for how limited their budget is, but MOTU would likely not be doable under similar constraints.
