AGREED! It always seemed to me that "Blade" and "Saurod" were meant to be Tri-Klops, and Mer-Man anyway. Blade even had an "eye issue" that I always wondered about. Was it meant as a subtle, humorous, nod to the 3 eyes of Tri-Klops? Saurod was reptilian, and Mer-Man is very amphibious. Is isn't uncommon to confuse those two species. Just ask the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
This is quite obviously a goof. Very entertaining indeed.

Yeah, I see, because you're a little slow on the uptake?
Geeze, it's a thread on an internet forum where fans can discuss He-Man casting picks for a movie that probably won't even happen at this point. Was that really your definition of a "radical debate"? Lighten up.Don't appreciate you goading folks into some sort of racial debate be it a joke or not.

"By the Power of Grayskull". Can't we all just get along? Besides everytime I see this thread I open it hoping to see some cool casting ideas and that's all. Thanks.
“You don't stop playing because you grow old you grow old because you stop playing.” George Benard Shaw.
It could be me being slow.
Or maybe it was just a complete miss fire on your part.
That's all well and good and folks are welcome to suggest anybody they want.
But I have to wonder why you went on to say "ask yourself whether you really believe that he's a bad candidate for the role, or whether your own racial prejudices are preventing you from seeing why he is the man for the job."?
Now weather it' me being a dimwit or weather it's you trying to be funny, either way it's a very miss placed remark to come out with on a thread such as this.
Can we accept that is the case and just move on please?!

Believe it or not my post wasn't actually directed at you specifically, so there's no need to take personal offense. Otherwise, I would have said, "ask yourself whether you really believe that he's a bad candidate for the role, or whether your own racial prejudices are preventing you from seeing why he is the man for the job, Eamon." Nobody's calling you a racist.
You mean one dealing with such a serious, important topic? Or one where there have been so many accusations of racism flying around? Now weather it' me being a dimwit or weather it's you trying to be funny, either way it's a very miss placed remark to come out with on a thread such as this.
I agree that at this point we should just move on.Can we accept that is the case and just move on please?!

He-Jutsu - I totally thought you were joking at first. Forgive my cutting his suit in to a loin cloth comment.
I can definitely say I am not racist and I would still go see a MOTU movie if He-Man was any race under the sun, but Chris Tucker with Blonde hair.... that seems almost racist.

I've been watching the Fifth Element makings over the last few knights and saw that she got that song on the very first take.

He-Man- Justin Hartley? Or maybe an unkown? I still can’t think of anyone that fits.
Skeletor- Alexander Skarsgård
Teela - Evan Rachel Wood
Evil-Lyn- Summer Glau
Man-at-Arms- Tom Selleck
The Sorceress- Nicole Kidman
Beastman- Gerard Butler
Prince Adam- Chase Crawford
King Randor- Liam Neeson
Queen Marlena- Kate Beckinsale
Orko- Lou Scheimer or Gabe Khouth (voice for CGI character…as a nod to the original or 200X series)
Here are some options
Morena Baccarin from V, my perfect evil-lyn
Michael Biehn: man-at-arms. he is the man for that role
Djimon Hounsou: Zodak

Djimon Hounsou can be anything he wants on the MOTU as he is just the awesome.
I like Michael Biehn as MAA and although Morena Baccarin is great I do not see her as Evil Lyn. She's just too sweet looking. That's why she works so well in V in think. Friendly but deadly. I think Evil Lyn needs to look evil and deadly and a hot of course.
Blonde from V would be great for Sorceress I think!![]()

yes, hounsuo is a great actor and could play any role.
about evil-lyn, I think it will be a great challenge plays this role for any actress.
if the writers want a he-man not so big and muscular, how about jared padalecki(supernatural) as he-man?
he was candidate to play conan

Not sure Michael Biehn's really "gruff" enough for Man-At-Arms.
Chris Hemsworth is looking very He-Man-ish in the latest Thor picture -
But I doubt we'd get him as He-Man, not when he's gonna be busy making Thor sequels and the Avengers.
It's great being Lord of the Thundercats - especially hanging out with Cheetara - but the one draw back is that He-Man can still beat me up.

Well he won't always be making Thor or the Avengers all year round, so he could play He-Man. We don't know when production on the new MOTU movie will start anyway. Hemsworth is still fairly young so even in 4 years time, he will still be the right age for the most powerful man in the universe.
Bikini Teela: Hottest version ever!!
I guess the real question then is: will he want to play another big blonde super strong hero in a loose sci-fi-fantasy setting? Or will he want to devote his non-Thor/Avenger time to art house indie flicks that will supposedly challenge him but probably not get a wide release?
