    Joe Manganiello as Moss Man.

I saw some posts mentioned Laura Prepon for Teela and Karl Urban as Tri-Klops - I like it!

Also, if they go as far as having any extended Horde members, I think Kristin Bauer looks EXACTLY like Octavia!

I wouldn't be half surprised if the writers considered replacing Mer-Man with a non-Horde Octavia for a little diversity.

Guys, you know what we really need for the role of He-Man? Big blond blu-eyed, handsome as hell pair of twins who can act. Not much to ask, right?

One would, of course, had to bulk up (for He-Man), and the other would stay average, perhaps even a bit skinny (to play Adam). That would be THE way to go.

Also, I think Deborah Ann Woll would be a great Teela, although Amanda Righetti (of The Mentalist fame) is still my #1 choice. Amber Heard is PERFECT for Adora.

I always wanted to watch a cinema movie about He-man and She-Ra. Yesterday, I have watched an old movie about He-man called "Masters of the Universe" which was recorded in 80's.

    627050557_zpsbd421589.jpg

I think in 1987, Dolph Lundgren was the best choice to be a He-man. He was Rocky's blonde rival and looked like him. However, I think He-man deserves to be a new movie with our recent special effects and 3D. I want to watch a new "He-man" in cinema theatres. In the movie, I didn't see Orko and tiger, for example... And he must be Prince Adam and turn to He-man. But Dolph was always He-man in the movie. So "Who must to be new generation He-man?" for me... Many years ago, when I watched "Troy", I thought that the best choice was Brad Pitt... In "Troy" Brad Pitt looked like He-man...

    bradpittTroy09_zps418b5492.jpg

However, now Brad is too old to play Prince Adam and He-Man. When I watched "Thor" a couple of years ago, I said "Chris Hemsworth has to act He-man's role" to myself. Blonde Chris reminded me He-man, too.

    thor-29mar20111_zpsee428fcf.jpg

But two days ago, I've watched "The Legend Of Hercules" in cinema and Kellan Lutz became one of my favourite possible He-men.

    rs_560x415-131122144029-1024Kellan-Lutz-Hercules-The-Legendjl112213_copy_zps291c3068.jpg

Because, if his blonde hair become longer, he will look like a He-man... When lighting came to Hercules' sword, it reminded me He-man's most popular scene. As a matter of fact, I hope one director will record a new movie about He-man and She-ra. After that, I will be satisfied.
But 1987 movie satisfied me a little, because my favourite movie scenario is about time travel. You can see my "Time Travel Movies and TV Series" list in http://www.tst.gen.tr/Cinema/timetravel.htm ... If I watched the He-man movie before, I would add it to my list, too.

Kellan Lutz as He-Man: has vocally pitched himself for the role. And he has the potential to have his breakout movie yet.

Nathan Jones as Beastman: I like! (Although I would like Tyler Mane l.jpg to get in here as well)

Robert Maillet (WWE Kurrgan) as Clawful (if he was in the script) kurrgan.jpg

John Glover as SKELETOR: IMO HANDS DOWN! john-glover-photos.jpg

Lucy Lawless as the Sorceress: I'm interested

Tricia Helfer as Evil Lyn: WHOAH

Just a few that came off the top of my head.

Even with that Fendi, Cody is a poor actor! I watched that web reality series he made. Which I paid $10 a month to see while he was still doing it! And it was awful! He was so whiny in it! Not to mention that had I not stop getting it even after 3 months passed with no new episodes. He was still taking the money! I wonder how many are still paying him $10 a month? He thought his role of SyFy Thor was great. That film was hard to watch! Cause it was filled with bad actors. And I rather have a root canal done than watch it again! Actually I didn't see all of it cause I fell a sleep during it. It was that bad! Even his role on that Cinemax show. When he was on it he was awful! He was only picked cause of his looks! And what I found very hypocritical was when he said many times how he would never do porn and nudity. Then he did that show and did simulated sex and showed off his ass and on one scene you see "him!" Sooo on top of how he treated all his early fans and all. HE SUCKS! He is a poor choice for He-Man!

For me, the characters are bigger than any actor who could play them, so I wouldn't want a well-known actor's personality interfering with the character they're supposed to be playing.
Agreed also, as long as they don't go the SvsB route - those casting choices are mind boggling.

The only known actor that comes to mind for He-Man is Kellan Lutz...but I don't think he can act.

Yes Kellan Lutz is the Perfect He-Man/Adam he just did Hercules so that gives him the experience for it right there plus he is amazing to look at.

i would say Maybe Eric Dane as Man at Arms.

Maybe Brad Pitt as King Randor. i would say Harrison ford but i think he is too old.

Reba MacEntire or wynonna Judd i think would be a good Queen Marlena. only red heads i could think of right off.

For Teela Scarlett Pomers she is really pretty or Maybe Ashley Greene.

The Sorcress this is a tough one but maybe nicole Kidman or Michelle Pfieffer.

Tyler Mane i could see pulling off Beast Man.

CGi Orko and have Robin Williams the man of voices do his Voice.

if you want to show She Ra characters i can see Jensen Ackles as Bow.

    Cgi Swiftwind and Battle Cat.

for She-Ra and Adora this is tough. Niki reed she has a good facial structure for it.

Hordak i would say Jackie Earle Haley because he can be on the scarry side.

Maybe Jennifer Tilly as Catra or Scorpia.

Skeletor this one is tough too. i would say get someone from the horror genere that can be darker.

Trapjaw i would say Johnny Depp he is good at different characters.
    I HAVE THE POWER.

At present I can’t think of anyone who could realistically play ‘Classic’ He-Man with the required physique, youth and acting skills. I’ve therefore chosen an actor who could play New 52 He-Man as this version of He-Man seems far easier to cast.

    New 52 Prince Adam / New 52 He-Man – Eddie Redmayne
    Teela – Alexandra Daddario
    Man-At-Arms – Karl Urban
    King Randor – Hugh Jackman
    Queen Marlena – Jaimie Alexander
    The Sorceress – Natasha Henstridge
    Clamp Champ – Erik King
    Stratos – Ewan McGregor
    Mekaneck – Sharlto Copley

    Skeletor – Richard Armitage
    Evil lyn - Eva Green

And should the Horde (and She-Ra) make a cameo to tease the audience for the sequel:
Hordak – Russell Crowe or Johnny Depp
    Shadow Weaver – Lena Headey
Force Captain Adora (and possibly She-Ra) – Chloe Grace Morentz
    Catra – Katie McGrath

There could also be some new characters to keep the MOTU story feeling fresh!

    King - Nick Offerman
    He-Man - Charlie Hunnam or Scott Speedman {long blonde hair look is near spot on}
    Man-at-Arms - Karl Urban
    Teela - Alice Eve
    Sorceress - Cate Blanchett
    Orko - Christopher Mintz-Plasse

    Evil-Lyn - Antje Traue
Skeletor - Paul Norell or Charles Dance
    Beastman - Lawrence Makoare
    Tri-Clops - Manu Bennett

She-Ra - Lynn Collins or Olivia Wilde
    Hordak - Shane Brolly
Shadow Weaver - Carice van Houten
    Catra - Eva Green

I'd really need to think about this, but one suggestion does come to the top of my head right away. I'm sure he's been mentioned before but how about Michael O'Hearn as He-Man?

Nice picks! I'd like to see Kellan Lutz too! He's got a great look and he's a better actor that some of the other meatheads running around Hollywood. I saw this Cody Deal once, and he's pretty bland. He's one rung above a wrestler. Not a good choice at all.

Amy is a little young don't ya think? How about Juilianne Moore? I'd like to see Karl Urban in this flick too, he's great. Hugh Jackman is an awesome guy, but I think I'd trade him for Michael Sheen.

..I'm personaly sick of agency people forcing actors and actresses together to play love interests.
So you would not choose actors because you wouldn't want them to act? That kind of takes the challenge out of their work.

The best on screen couples have been unknowns to each other... and sometimes as a result of their work, they become couples. I would like to think that actors are chosen on their credentials and calibre, and not by their relationship status.

Kind of glad you're not involved in the movie making process there bud.

HE-MAN - My first choice actor to play He-Man would be Chris Hemsworth, but he's already said in an interview that "He can't play He-Man has to much in common with Thor." Chris would make a great He-Man. He's got the physique, the looks and the voice.

Secondly, I would take DANIEL CUDMERE who plays Collosus in the X-Men movies. I think he could make a good He-Man.

I also think Ryan Reynolds could do a good job. He's not only a funny guy, he is quite a muscular guy. I also thought that Henry Cavill could do it. And maybe Channing Tatum or Kellan Lutz.

PRINCE ADAM - If they could do what the did with Chris Evans in Captain America: The First Avenger, then the same actor can play both Adam AND He-Man. If it were two different actors, would be Liam Hemsworth playin Adam (if older brother Chris plays He-Man). I also think that Alex Pettyfer would make a great Adam.

SKELETOR/KELDOR - Two actors who would make a great Skeletor is TOM HIDDLESTON who played Loki inThor and the Avengers or BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH who played Kahn in Star Trek Into Darkness. I would also pick Benedict Cumberath for Hordak.

MAN-AT-ARMS - Man-at-Arms is difficult for me. But I believe that JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN from THE LOSERS can make Man-at-Arms quite a badass. Also SEAN BEAN or VIGGO MORTENNSEN from Lord of the Rings seems right. Also other tough guys like SYLVESTER STALLONE, KARL URBAN or CHRISTIAN BALE.

TEELA - JENNIFER LAWRENCE, she somehow reminds me of the Masters of the Universe Classics Teela figure AND her acting career is soaring. I think she could make a great Teela. Otherwise, other talented actresses such as Scarlett Johanssen, Natalie Portman or Isla Fisher. But Jennifer Lawrence is my first choice at this point.

EVIL-LYN Megan Fox has the right look for a spunky, young-looking Evil-Lyn. But to choose an actresss with high stature and great acting talent, I'd choose ANGELINA JOLIE, hands down!!! Somehow, her pefromance in Maleficent immediately reminded me of Evil-Lyn.

THE SORCERESS Remember, the Sorceress cannot age, so I would choose ERICA DURANCE who played Lois Lane in Smallville. She is beautiful and busty and has great potential.

KING RANOR - Dennis Quaid, Richard Burgi or Kevin Sorbo. Actors who make excellent fathers and who kick a lot of ass!

QUEEN MARLENA - Jullianne Moore or Kristianne Alfonso.

BEAST MAN - Nathan Jones (wrester) or Ron Perlman

STRATOS - Gerard Butler (remember Stratos had a Scottish accent in the MYP series)

MER-MAN - Andi Serkis (in a mocap suit, like in Avatar and the upcoming Ninja Turtles movie)

RAM MAN - My man KEVIN JAMES from the Grown Ups films. He's got the right look and attitude for Mer-Man and he is a very lovable actor. He would be perfect as Ram-Man.

That's all I have for now. I will try and post more choices soon.

Can we have a Sega Genesis for MOTU instead of Dream Cast? It's not as powerful, but it's just more classy.

ok that made my night Probably be a better video game on the genesis too...

I always joke about being ram man in this movie But I do look a lot like Kevin james and would be a hellvalot cheaper. Although I want ram man to be a lot meaner in this film . With like a dead eye and a scar running down his face. luckily those are features I don't have.

Don't know if this guy has been mentioned? Dustin Clare. He played gannicus on the spartacus show that was on startz. Judging from that show, the guy can act, plus relatively unknown. Best of both worlds. Think he'd make a righteous He-man.

I know that Dwayne Johnson is a bit old for the role of He-Man, but he would be perfect as an older King He-Man (it's unlikely that they ever made a movie like that but let's suppose that may they will do it someday) . This is a movie clip from Hercules:

If Netossa is in the MOTU movie, I think Naomi from WWE would be great to play her and Big E Langston would be great as Clamp Champ.

Kellan Lutz and John Glover are good choices! I agree with you there dude. Wrestlers though? Wrestlers suck as actors. Keep wrestlers away from MOTU.

Game of Thrones has some great actors that could work in MOTU. The guy who plays The Mountain could be Beastman, Thor Bjornsson, he's 6'9''! Lena Headey could be Evil Lyn. That ***** is just ice cold.

If MOTU gets the same treatment GOT does, it could be awesome. Just needs to be free of wrestlers and Playboy bimbos to keep it respectable.

Eva Green would make an awesome Evil-Lynn. She was perfect as Artemisia in 300. She has this femme fatale appeal. Also she looks quite similar with Stjepan Sejic's Evil-Lynn in one of his famous MOTU artworks:
