Dream Cast for MOTU

I like the idea of 'unknown' actors in the cast, though I think Laura Prepon would make a good Teela, and I like Michelle Pfeiffer as The Sorceress.

I think in her younger years, though she's a singer, not an actress, Annie Lennox had the right sort of face for Evil-Lyn. Unfortunately, at 53, she's probably a bit old for it now. I'm not sure I can see Kate Beckinsale as Evil-Lyn, although she's very pretty, I find her a bit too 'cute' (same with Jennifer Garner).

I'd like to see that blonde kid from Weeds play prince adam. I think he would be beyond perfect.

Sorry if this has been discussed before,
I was watching American Gladiators yesterday and I think Titan (Michael O'Hearn) Would be a great He-Man, sorry if this has been disucssed before, the thread is so long now...

He was in that World's finest short movie as Superman.
i don't know about his acting abilities though...

Michael O'Hearn is is great shape but from what I understand, acting ain't his strong suite.
He also been in the game long enough now, so if he was any good, he would find better work than he has already.

I think he might do well, but he might also have the stigma of having been the lead in that movie, which wasn't very well received. Another choice might be Garrett Hedlund, who played Eragon's brother AND Patroclus (Brad Pitt's cousin) in Troy.

His name is Hunter Parish, just something about the way he looks and his personality on that show would be perfect for the part. Not that he should just play the same character, he'd have to have a little less depressed attitude and more of a wise guy attitude, i can just see him pulling it off really well. And if they went with that guy from sex and the city for he-man they look aLOT a like

And with regards to the direction of the movie, I'd like to see something that pays homage to, and takes into account, the mythos of MOTU, but is the next evolution and/or re-imagining of it.

Well Jason Lewis is in it and every time I see it, I think he be a great He-man. He's very handsome but has character in his face and as my girl friend says, he does look like a warm friendly person. Something a lot of other pretty boys don't have.
He would need to pack on a few pound though.

I agree, he would be perfect for He-Man, I think he was interested in the movie when it was under 20th Century Fox, I hope they consider him this time.

And how often have older actors and actresses portrayed younger roles? Even if she is close to 60 does that mean she has to play the part of a 60 year old? And who said Adam would even be a teenager in the movie?

Not to mention if we're discussing age, this is the same community that is insisting that Evil-Lyn be played by some hot young chick like Rose McGowan (or other such example) when by most definitions Evil-Lyn be older than mere twenties. She was around since the time of Keldor so I think that infers she be around Marlena's age.
