Mike Magnola!!! That's you you remind me of!
like it! But I think you could've given Beastman some of his recognisable gear!
He could be anything as he is!![]()
I figured He-Man would need to be doing battle with someone, so I added Beastman to the piece I posted in the movie redesign thread.
Might as well repost the originals as well.

Yeah, I certainly owe Mignola some royalties!
As for Beastman, I've always liked the idea of Beastman as a barely tamed missing link of Eternia that Skeletor unleashes on He-Man from time to time. I realize this is not canon from any MOTU incarnation, but that's just the way I've always thought he should be done. Which is why I've drawn him 2 to 3 times He-Man's size.

Looks awesome man! :-)

If I draw Beastman again I might add some of his armor, but in the meantime we can consider this "Savage Beastman" maybe before he was domesticated by Skeletor
Also, I don't know who Byte is, you're gonna have to help out on that one.

More fan-art from me. Whiplash was always my favorite Evil Warrior, but that's probably because I was also obsessed with anything green and covered in scales.
Let me know what you guys think about this one. Does Whiplash read easier than my earlier Beastman?

Oh yeah, your Whiplash registers immediately, and it's got some great dynamic to it. Both in shadows and movement.![]()
Can't wait to see your possible Hordak and Skeletor. Or the terrifying Snake Face.
Yeah, your Whiplash is clearly Whiplash. I enjoy how you used "classic-toy" Whiplash as well.
Another great one!
Yes, that is clearly Whiplash!
Were you planning on doing anything with that sky?

With some more refinements and a little more work, I'd happily read a MOTU comic in this style.
Have you ever read Thrud the Barbarian?

There's nothing stopping you from doing a MOTU comic as a portfolio piece. As long as you don't sell any, it won't raise any eyebrows.

I loved the effects you had in the first He-Man pic you did. I think something similar in the Whiplash pic would be sweet.![]()

Eamon: I might be persuaded into doing a couple of pages
Iceman: I'm not sure what you mean by "effects." Are you referring to the background elements in the first pic?
Below is some quick color I threw on a sketchbook page full of Skeletors? I'm partial to the one holding the havoc staff.

It's great being Lord of the Thundercats - especially hanging out with Cheetara - but the one draw back is that He-Man can still beat me up.
