should skeletors face be yellow or some other color

Honestly, it's the YELLOW SKULL that makes Skeletor unique and different from all the other skulls out there.

Bone can yellow (even brown) if it's explosed to chemicals like tannic acid in a bog. For Skeletor it seemed more logical that since his skull-face was the result of an injury or accident that was obviously magical in some way (because, you know, he was still walking around) that the bone reflect this. A white skull is more a natural skull that's been left to weather in the elements and exposed to the sun. Nothing about Skeletor's disfigurement is natural and so I have to go with yellow.

I mean, a "bone" color would give it a more realistic appearance, yes, but, since we are speaking about a man with a skull-face, i don't think that "realistic" is better than "classic" in this specific case.

Hmmm I voted no to yellow... but then again maybe he could have an ominous yellowish glow coming from within so kinda like how you would put a flash light under your chin. I think his eyes should be a hollow socket UNTIL he becomes angry, then they glow red!

I would like to see a face similar to that of the Afredo Alcala Skeletor of the Mini-Comics; that kind of yellow with tinges of green, with the gnarly teeth, and slightly glowing red eyes. This sort of image would really give the movie Skeletor a fearsome image (presuming they get the rest of him right).

To be honest I think white would look as silly as filmation yellow! It's looks far too crisp, bright and clean for someone who's face has been attacked by acid / chemicals and has been around for a "while". That was one of the things I didn't like about the 87' movie skeletor. No realism. It's as if Skelie didn't just brush his teeth in the morning, but he also gave his face a good scrub with the toothpaste and
"whitener"...

I would like to see it resemble more of a dental plaque color. Slightly brownish / yellow with an overall tan color.

Another thing I've always envisioned for the additonal "green" highlights is possible moss or fungi growing over his face, which I think would freak'n rule!

I really liked the concept art that was done for the MOTU movie from 1987. The way they portrayed Skeletor it didn't look like a normal skull and that's how I view it. A normal skull would be too small and out of scale with the rest of his body, even with the hood. A bigger, meaner, more evil skull that has a slightly greenish/yellowish hue would be my preference with red eyes that light up when he is enraged or about to unleash an awesome attack.

I'd like to see a yellow skull actually as it looks great with the purple and blue colour scheme. Makes the charcter look richer and set him apart from any other , grim reaper type character. Also maybe Gar bone is more yellow? Also visually it ties him to Evil-Lyn which is important in visual storytelling...very much depends though on which angle their gonna take with the new movie.

I really think there is way to tie Skeletor to Evil Lyn, also a knot tied to King Hiss is when it becomes interesting.
I see Lyn as a former snake-girl, and that Skeletor used his magic to make her look more human, but lost his own face in the process, making her the only girl that could love his face, and making King Hiss angry at the same time.

A white skull would be too predictable but personally either could pass if done right. Just cover the actors face in the color and have a skull digitally inserted and definitely make the eye glow red whenever Skeletor gets angry or excited. Whatever they come up with, it would look quite nice on the cover of Fangoria.
