I tought so but the joint piece into the pelvis is logged to the torso too, I shound disassemble the entire figure, that is structuraly entirely different from a MOTU figure, I'd rather not risk to ruin a Skull-man variant...

This happened to my Wolf warrior beast figure. What I did was heat up the leg with the ball joint in it,and pooped it out.Next I took a thin, but strong peice of wire about 3/8ths inch long and heated it up to where it turned red.Using a needle nose pliers I pushed it into the center of both peices and cooled it with cold water to prevent futher melting.Once it was cooled I pulled the peices apart, removed the wire, and put some glue onto/into both holes, and pushed the wire back in to both peices, and let it dry for 15 20 minutes. And then I heated up the leg socket and poped it back on good as new.

I used it to fix the guy I posted before:
The pin is just a small nail that I cut the head off.
And here he is:

Is there a way to fix the rubber bands in the legs of the vintage He-Man figures?
Here you will find everything you need to know about that:

Is there some kind of trick? I cant seem to get the rubber ball in the second leg.
I cannot express how fantastic He-Bro's technique is! Last night I was looking through the plastic tub I store my original figs in - while I figure out some nice way to display them - and noticed that stinkor's legs had fallen off!
Went to home depot this morning and grabbed a set of each item needed and repaired him within 10 minutes. Also redid the legs on a few of my figs that had loose legs. They are now as good as new
Now I have a stack of figs set aside waiting for repair while I go get more supplies
Thanks for this post, guys!
Hello, I am starting a new thread for this because the old thread is old enough that it took a little searching to find it after I glanced at it a while back.
This is a link to He-Bro's website, in which he describes a way to fix loose or broken MOTU legs. Brilliant. I just tried it, and it works better than I could have dreamed. I am going to the hardware store to buy more O Rings right now!
But first, here is the link.

Why didn't you just "bump" the old thread.....![]()
I found this website as well and repaired 2 men this way. It worked great but the hooks got hard to grip near the end, because they go so deep in the legs.
he-bro is brilliant!this saved alot of my favorite figures that were in awsome shape, like right out of the package type shape that sat in my broken stuff box cuz i couldnt just junk em,so his site helped me out alot!![]()
Is it hard to do? What is the collecting communities take on this restoration? Doesn't seem as bad as reproduction stickers or paint touch ups. Otherwise these figures can't stand up.
I remeber somewhere there was directions for this...any help or tips appreciated.

Can anyone explain to me how to fix a MOTU figures legs.
My original HeMan's legs were ripped off in a battle with my cousin years ago.
My father made duct tape shorts for him that held his legs in place somewhat but I would like to fix if possible.
PM me with details on how to fix!!
Thanks

Broken Legs
I was just searching for that link this morning. I wanted to know what size O rings and eye hooks to use. Thanks for posting.
STILL A KID AT HEART.
I go to home depot for my supplies when i make my customs or repairs. The eye hooks i use are #214. they come in a red bag of 10.The "o" rings i use are about the same size as the ones used in older g.i. joes or a bit bigger.Home depot has those to,I think the number for the ones i get are #9 or #10.

I am wondering what affect the "leg fix" has on the value of a figure. Obviously a repaired figure has greater value than a broken one, but how would a repaired figure value against one in the same condition (with loose legs)? At what point would a leg repair be in order? Should a figure with loose legs be left as is, if it can stand on it's own?
One other question. If I were to repair the legs on a figure and sell it, should I mention it to prospective buyers? Is it something that matters? Keep in mind, I'm talking about figures in "played with" condition here. I like to be as honest as possible when I sell something.

thanks!! He-Man will be out of the wheel chair soon.
As for telling someone; I personally (as a buyer) wouldn't care but if you knew the legs had been repaired then why not mention it. Full disclosure and no one can complain then.
Bumping this epic thread!
I love the repair tutorial from He-Bro with the O-rings and screw eyes!
I sold all my vintage collection of MOTU along with the 200X collection for the MOTUC figures because they are more detailed and I needed the space.
I miss some of the really cool vintage figures with action features a lot, so I want to get only a handful of those characters again that I loved so much as a kid. The tutorial helped me decide to get them again for sure![]()
