I don't know if this goes in the props and costumes discussion, but I have an original movie script. It has a bunch of sticky notes attached and in the scenes, there are hand written notes. These include things like matte painting and model shot. I guess someone who was working on the background and different scenes used it to plan out the movie. It is very interesting to read and see how it differs from the movie, such as scenes that were removed. It would be nice to find out who actually wrote in it. There are no names on it. Anyone have any suggestions?

I remember about 8 or 9 years ago I was looking for some tv/movie props and ran across a site that was selling a sword from the movie. They wanted a bit more than I had t ospend at the time, but if I had a brain I would have bought it anyway. I have done business with them over the years and they are a good company so I think it was probably legit. I still have the on-line catalog some where and the price info and the company info. Ill see if I can find it and if they still have it maybe someone can pick it up. (I will try first to see if I can get it...sorry guys....but if its out of my range Ill let people know...)

Not just that, I remember several years ago that the original Beastman costume from the movie was on eBay as well.

Wow, I came on here to see how badly this thread died, and was shocked to see somewhat recent posts. However, I came across this comment and nearly choked...

Have you ever handled an Albion sword? There is no comparisson between the two. Marto makes a nice piece, don't get me wrong (I'm staring at my Connor MacLeod sword on the wall right now. Which reminds me, it could use a dusting). Albion makes works of art! What they did with the help of Jody Samson in recreating the Atlantean was awe inspiring to say the least!

With that said, knowing that Albion is in posession of an authentic sword is more than any sword collector could ask for. If they end up getting the rights to produce reproductions, I can die happy. Although, if it is anything like their Headless Horseman reproduction, expect to pay around $1500-$2000.

    Interesting thread.
This thread got me motivated to expand my sites Masters of the Universe prop price guide page. It can be viewed at http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/...heuniverse.htm
The later items listed are based on my memory so prices realized are not 100 percent exact. I figured some might find the information of value anyway.
http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/...collection.htm has some pictures of some of my prop collection from Masters of the Universe. I also now have an Eternia Soldier rifle and the exact Metal Bayonet rifle used by He man featured on the org at http://he-man.org/primary_sects/movi.../weapons.shtml

Working on getting pictures and pages up for them.

    OMG!!!!

Never in a million years would I believe the briefs were red and the leather straps brown. I always thought they were black.

I finally watched the DVD on a big screen for the first time last night, and you can definitely see the colors. Granted they are a lot darker still on film.

That's about the clearest shot I've seen of the center crest, which was slightly distored for use on the belt buckle. However, it is the same design as the dragon used on the doors of Castle Greyskull.

I'm really diggin' this pic, and would also be very interested in an Albion version. However, I am much MORE interested in a real-life replica of the classic MOTU Powersword that we all know and love.

That's a nice little 3D version of the sword there.
A few minor changes and it would be pretty dead on!

I'll throw my name in as someone who would love to have a great reproduction of Dolph's sword.

Heck, I would love a great, officially licensed reproduction of any of the PowerSwords.

Wow, I didn't remember the dragon crest being on the doors of the Castle. Guess I need to watch the movie again... I'll have to see if Ballbuster Video has a copy on DVD.

Yeah, unfortunately for us, the site those pics came from was selling the weathered, mud-caked, "battle-damaged" version of He-Man's costume. I wish they would've had the freshly-polished, gleaming gold "ceremonial" version from the end of the movie. The details would be easier to make out on that version.

And since they WERE selling the "battle-damaged" version, you'll notice, if you look at all the pictures, that it's missing the bracer for the right arm, just like in the movie. It also appears to be missing the sheathed dagger on the leg, and the arm band that goes around He-Man's biceps.

Can't we just e-mail W.S Stout and ASK him about the crest..?

Seeing as he most likely designed it, I'd wager he knows what it looks like. =)

And who knows, he might even own a prop or two from back in the day.
