    He-Ro, Son of He-Man

I'm sure it's been discussed here before, but wow, the bible for He-Ro made the show look really good. The designs looked great and it seemed like a logical extension of the story and nothing too far out there (ala NA).

A shame we didn't get to see that one.

I like about the idea of He-ro, son of He-man too. In my opinion, Evil-Lyn could be the ruler of evil in He-ro storyes, because as we all know, she has only made an alliance with the old bone head, because she wants his powers, by then she would have finally done it, or at least my opinion.

I still have to read those bibles, I'm waiting to finish the Mastering the Universe book first. I too wanted a He-Ro series but to me it seemed like it was about to hit too fast. I understand that the creaters wanted something new and fresh for sales reasons, but I would have wanted more seasons of He-Man first. There were too many characters that didn't get any shine, and I think there was still some room to expand He-Man's story.

Ever since I read this years ago, I always wanted it to happen. The only thing that I recall disliking was the fact that Dare/He-ro wasn't the true son of Adam/He-man and Teela.

As I recall the plan was to ultimately reveal that Dare was in fact the long lost son of Adora making him He-Man's nephew

I dislike what they did to Trap-jaw.
And Mer-man and Ram-man, just too far away from original designs.

Funny that Orko is the only character who kept his original design.

Yeah, I know. However, I felt that he should have been Adam's and Teela's true son.

Evil Lyn looks like something that Larry Flint would come up with!

Does any one know what all made it to production with HE-RO on it? I have some knitting patterns that he's on the cover of, but have never seen any other products with him. Figure there must be a few others.

The concept is pretty cool. As others have stated, I'm not to excited about some of the character redesigns. Adding the new characters would be fine, but changing the older ones too drastically, and all at once, would be too much.

However, I do kind of dig the concept for Man-E-Faces. I'm completely guessing here, but from the looks of him, it would appear that the idea would be for his entire body to transform into whomever he wants to look like. And since he has the watches on him, I'm guessing he could set it for a time limit or something, so he changes back after a designated amount of time. That would have been cool... plus, it wouldn't have to completely eliminate his old design, since they could just have him transform into it.
