Here we go with the KIDS FINALE.

Now, I just want to reiterate my hope in the outcome of this contest each year. I hope that we come up with a unique Fan Created Character that really adds something to MOTU. I hope to see something unlike anything in MOTU so far, yet able to fit right in as well. That being said, I think all the characters are great and I wish everyone the best of luck!

Unfortunately I was not able to color them, so please feel free, those who are skilled to do so, to paint them up.

Tom these are great! To see these characters evolve is amazing.

I'm sure everyone can figure it out but the character in the center of the top row is Hunting Leapard Shaman.

How does that character work by the way. Would his heads be able to be removable and interchangable? Or would you have to have all three present all the time.

FANG

This guy is Fang He is a weapon and judo specialist from the bezerker islands. He is a bad guy. It is not known which side he will work for skeletor or the Horde only time will tell.

Hunting LEOPARD SHAMAN: may come with 3 individual heads.


Well, we're not native english speakers, so Max didn't have a MOTU-flavored name, but he called his design very descriptively an evil Hunting Leopard Shaman. According to Max the huge warrior/wizard belongs to a tribe of cat people, and he's able to summon the help of two "totems" or "spirits" - a snake and a demon, so he can "grow"/"get" two additional heads that make him stronger: If it were an action figure you could remove and attach the three different heads accordingly (all three heads, so you could place the hunting leopard's head in the middle, "where it would fit a little better", as was pointed out to me ). The armor has a shoulder piece so "he can tackle someone" and he has two sharp "lightning" swords.


LAVA-SHARK

Powers: He can squirt lava out of his mouth and he can control lava. He can also swim in lava.
Story: He is on Hordak's team. Hordak found him in the lava by the skeletores fortress. He took him to join his army.

MAGMOS

A long time ago before Skeletor came to snake mountain. There was a village that lived there called magmar. There were people called magmanites. They were nice and kind species. They were made of rock and lava. Then one day skeletor and his forces came and that half of eternia turned to evil. He destroyed the village. It was a brutal bloody battle. There was only one survivor from the village magmos. He was severly damaged and begged skeletor to not kill him. So skeletor made a deal with him and said if I spare will you serve me. "Yes" said Magmos, but if I serve you will you heal; my injuries? "Yes" said skeletor. That is his story.

NIGHTMARE

Once this was an enchanted armor that was worn by kings during battle. Once during a battle the suit was hexed by an evil sorcerer and now turns who ever wears it no matter how good they are to an evil warrior until the next full moon when the suit releases it's wearer.

PUNCHOR

Punchor he is a robotic trainer for the masters. He helps in their teaching of hand to hand combat. Now they use him to help in their battles

SIX-ARMS

Wanting a commrade in arms, Roboto, with the guidance of MAA created SIX-ARMS, a Heroic Robotic Knight of Eternia. Equiped with 6 arms and trained in all forms of swordsmanship, SIX-ARMS is the ultimate swashbuckler.
SIX-ARMS is capable of fighting with up to 6 different blades at a time, using 6 forms of swordsmandship, and is capable of fighting more than 12 attackers at a time.

I would develope two collars; one for only one head, and one for all three. Then you could display one of the heads individually, or all three at once.

Wow, just wow! All designs are amazing! Truth to be told, I like all of them more than the adult entries - no offence to the creators, but I think there's way more creativity in the heads of the children than us fossils!

I am of course going with the hunting leopard shaman - and would appreciate any vote for my nephew's character! Thanks in advance!

And Lava-Shark's original drawing is much better than Royalt1us' version. Sorry, man, but it's the truth. ;) He's a hammerhead, with a red stripe along his belly. Your version has neither a hammerhead, or room for a nice flowing stripe down his belly. You failed to respect the vision of the original artist. :)

Doing a search for Might Bite, I see someone (He-mike) made a hammerhead shark (Rip Tide) who's even blue.

I think Lava-Shark is still probably my favorite, followed by Hunting Leopard Shaman, and Punchor. I may vote for the underdog though. I suspect Lava-Shark will get easy votes.

Absolutely. When you have as much on your plate as I do, you take as many short-cuts as you can. Especially when there is un-used design elements as good as there is in Emiliano's Might Bite! If you go back to the poll that Lava-Shark won to get to the finals, you might notice that I hinted then, at referencing MB's design if Lava-Shark moved on.

Anyway, it's what it is.

Gotta have that red stripe on his belly. desaturated greenish yellow gold trim. off-black aqua armor. desaturate his skin color to bring out the contrast in brightness of the red.

Oh balls! I voted and then this comes out... I really like the hammerhead redesign on this. The way I was looking at it was if we got Lavashark, I'd buy too, have one Lavashark, one Might-Bite

However I voted for Hunting Leopard Shamen...something entirely mad about the whole thing. Keep a watch on your nephew Irian, he's got some good imagination.

Thats really cool! I actually like the pink a lot. I'd make the streak that hits his armor red though.... other than that its really great!

shading would take more time. maybe later. I also darkened the armor, the blue along with the red. he could do with maybe a Horde symbol on his chest. in hot pink, to go with Ink-Shot. it would blend right in. also needs more bubbles on his armor. fun stuff.

I really like the updated versions of Lava-Shark (hammerhead all the way!) and Six-Arms (who got my vote!). The new heads make these characters feel even more unique and special.

Great job on all of the entries. Such creativity and imagination, they all deserve to win!

This is something fierce. I originally avoided the kids poll because I didn't really like any of the designs. Call me a big turd for thinking so, they just didn't excite me. I didn't realize Royaltus1 was going to take these little guys and turn them into such FANtastic works. I'll bet the kids are very happy, and I really like them all!

Fang is great, but he looks alot like Mortal Kombat's Goro to me, so I won't be voting for him. Hunting Leopard Shaman is really cool, and he totally looks like something Filmation's team would cook up. Six-Arms and Punchor are nice as well, they both have that MOTU feel. Nightmare is okay, but I'm not a fan of knight characters, unless they really have something to make them pop. If he was called Knight-Mare, I just me be inclined to give him more consideration. Magmos is cool too, but he looks like very insectoid, and MOTU already has a few of those running around.

I noticed there is a bit of a fiasco going on in regards Lava-Sharks redesign. When I saw the original sketch I thought I was looking at Might-Bite (really I did), a character which I absolutely LOVE! As most of you know, Might-Bite was already given the figure treatment (and he looks amazing), so I decided I would not vote for him.... then I scrolled down.. I am crossing my fingers that he ends up with his Hammerhead. It's far more interesting than the 'great white' head, which belongs on Might-Bite. So I guess I am voting for Lava-Shark.

PS: A creative side note (if Lava-Shark were to win) since Lava-Shark lives in lava, it could be interesting to see how he would look after a lava bath, if some of the lava had cooled on his blue skin to leave little blackened patches of rock residue. The black would look great against his blue skin. Hee hee.
