Well...I donīt know. Always tried to read what langauge is on the He Man Skeletor Giftset with Kassette. But couldnīt manage it.

The Picture is from a German book. But that doesnīt have to mean that much I think.

OH WOW - that is SO cool!!!

I remember we used to go to Child World (aka The Children's Palace in other areas of the U.S. - they had a panda bear as their iconic mascot)... and they had HUGE MOTU displays... the store always smelled like new toys

I WISH I had pics of me in the aisles -- but I don't

I will have to remember that if and when I have a kid.

    Thanks for sharing that pic!!

wow, that's cool, I wish there were more pictures around of MOTU displays in stores as they truly ruled them. I remember in TRU there being a HUGE display packed right to the top of many figures, vehicles, playsets and the Eternia Poster in the middle of it all.

strange how a simple pic like that can bring back a lot of memories.

joy theres a greyskull box in the corner!

The kids must be wondering why the motu stand is being defiled by the crappy Admiral Ackbar toys beneath. "Mmm Hordak comes with a cross bow and Admiral Ackbar only ever sat on that spaceship so..."

Ah, the days when all of the classic MotU figures were still brand new and you could always look forward to what was coming next. Those days, I must admit, I miss alot. Thankfully I got to relive it somewhat during the brief 2002-2004 revival line. I'd love to see the classic figures return to the shelves though just like it used to be.

    MOTU in toy stores

There is a book I used to borrow from my library when I was younger called "Let's visit a Toy Store." It has a few pictures of toy aisles with Thundercats, MOTU, and some others. It goes into a toy factory and shows the production of a Jem car and a Manglor toy....at the end, you can see a nice pic of a shelf with He-Man Light and Sound Swiords!

If you can find it in the kid's section of your local library, it's a fun little book. I'll see if I can find it and get some scans.

It's funny how such a simple thing like this photo can make all of us so happy. Wow - nostaliga. Reminds me of the good ol' days when I'd pick up the latest figures from the shelves and just drool at the card art (something that was sorely missing from the 200X releases!).

Happy days. In fact you might say these Happy Days are yours and mine, Happy Days.
