Yeah not buyin' it bub.
Gravity still works the same. Sure the gate of a Tiger will be smoother than that of a horse perhaps? But you still wouldn't hold yer legs on like that, or if you did, the stirrups would be up higher and you'd ride more like a racing jockey than a show horse or casual western style riding.
I still agree with Divia, one wouldn't "roll" like that even on a cat.

Yeah, I see your points but I wasn't really defending style he holds his legs, just making a point that whole situtation is "wrong" in terms of real world. I don't actually know how you should really sit on when you ride on cat or others where you should sit on shoulders, maybe as Eamon says if movie gets made, it's exiting to see how they handle this thing, maybe like they did on Lotr with wargriders, we'll see.
I think DA might be having some kind of problems, because all of the DA-links posted recently are broken.
Looks like you ticked him off.
I can't honestly say that I completely disagree with him, but I also think that maybe he overreacted. Still, that's his decision, but you should know that at least one artist disapproves of this thread and the way it's being handled. At the least, I would only link to the pages on which the images appear, not repost the images in this thread. And I think I saw at least one uncredited image posted here which, to me, is a huge no-no. Shrug.
If an artist has a beef then he can contact Beana or myself.
One would've thought that folks would be happy their art is getting so much love.

I see that justification all the time when people repost someone's artwork (or steal or what have you), but I've never really accepted that. Yes, praise is nice, but the best way to show appreciation to the artist is to give them respect and, in this case, it generally means not reposting their work without permission. Sure, a lot of people will have no problem letting you do what you do, but asking first is always the respectful thing to do.
Edit: Also, someone who just googled their name and found some random forum thread with their stuff in it typically isn't going to know who the people in charge are nor how best to contact them.
I can see your point to a degree.
If anybody has a general grievence with folks posting art that's already on line here, then as I said they can contact Beana or myself and the offending article can be removed.
