I watch Nebezial on Deviantart, and he currently digitally paints the current Wichblade series. He does some beautiful stuff, an has a very quick turnaround.
He just did this random He-Man piece, its awesome:

Heh and this is why Witchblade has been picking up of late, the story and the art are on the same level. I'm just always impressed he does things so damn quick.

I do like Stjepan Sejic's art and he has often knocked my socks off but this one not so much.
I just don't like the designs of the characters, expecially He-man.
These are great! I especially the father/daughter one!
Good to see this thread continuing!!

I quite like Evil Lyn's mane coming out the back on the Nebezial one. Cool stuff!
Potential movie concepts methinks.
I think more could've been done with Teela. And yeah, He-Man is looking a little too... He-Boy-ish than he should be.
But overall I like the concept, the bad guys Rock!

I think if he had some beaten bronze instead of silver, that costume would win me over.
It's the flavour of the whole piece I don't like.
Too high fantasy for me. Needs more grit and barbarism.
I reckon Batman has MOTU beaten long ago on that front!

Whew. Nebezial's piece is bloody impressive! I could get finicky about details, but that doesn't detract from its overall "Wow" factor. I especially like his Merman, who actually doesn't look goofy!
The pic of Teela and MAA is a good one - I like pictures that don't just depict battles and/or aggressive pose-for-the-camera - but at first glance I thought it looked like Daddy helping his daughter with her bathing suit, maybe with some finicky buttons or catches. His feet are so close to hers, too, that he looks off-balance.

How often do you call me "Kim McFarland" as opposed to "Slackbot," eh?
I don't mind the sliver armor on he-man, kinda makes him look a little like Marvel's Thorrand I think it's great how he made all the villains look badass (even Merman
) ! I've never really got into Witchblade personally (not an Image 1990's Mcfarland style superheroes fan, well I was once into Lady Death, but then again I was an adolescent 15 year old LOL) but I love Stjepan's lush style in details, I could easily see him doing limited edition covers to the MOTU comics!

This is all some really great art! I wish He-Man were more of a pulp entity in comics so there'd be more artists rendering him professionally instead of on their own time as fan art.
Stjepan Sejic did a really good job, it really has a movie look to it, and I'd love a movie to look like this (it'd be more right than wrong I think). But that said, Teela looks like a princess not a warrior (Celice design maybe), and He-Man looks kind of pretty boy-ish (reminding me of the He-Ro Son of He-Man thing more than He-Man himself). Skeletor with the long hair, while actually kind of accurate given NA and MYP, seems wrong. He should have that hood up always! Evil-Lyn looks awfully neat but design wise she's more like how Catra should look. I love the look of the Evil warriors though, that's an excellent interpretation of Merman and there's some strong personality in Trap Jaw and Tri-Klops. Beastman looks a little less developed, but not bad either. I'm in awe of the digital paint here, still not a medium I've gotten into.
Hey, these are great! I love the backgrounds especially, they really capture the look of Eternia. Skeletor himself seems a little thin, but still pretty cool.

Tremendous!
It doesn't look finished though, particularly at She-Ra's hemline. Is he still working on it? I guess He-Man didn't look quite "finished" either, but it's more noticeable in this painting.
I like that he used this 200Xish version of Hordak with She-Ra, and Scorpia looks pretty neat, but Shadow Weaver looks like an evil Orko and Catra is far too subdued. She should be much more like his Evil-Lyn than this. I love the Horde Troopers and what I see of Leech looks pretty cool too! Mantenna seems a little Mantisaur-ish to me, but I like his face. The Frightzone looks maybe a little too much like Richard Donner's version of the Fortress of Solitude (the Horde in the Crystal Caste maybe?), but I like the general atmosphere. Too bad Seahawk or Bow isn't the damsel in distress this time.
She-Ra's armor looks more faithful than He-Man's. Maybe he wanted a gold=She-Ra, silver=He-Man kind of thing?
He's like that sometimes, things aren't always done in his work. Or he could be working on it still, who really knows.
I'm loving the epic feel to these paintings. Its rockin my socks off!
Obey the whip!
Smile like you mean it.
