I think it should go back to the Cross.

I don't know what that asterix thing was supposed to be.
I know the claims. It's an "H" and a "Cross"! It's the "He-Man" symbol so he can be EVEN MORE like a Superman rip off.

I really didn't like the asterix version of it. I didn't mind it so much when it actually resembled an "H" like on the toon or on the Mini Bust by the 4HM.

But c'mon... It's just a cross, let's bring it back already!

Fans have had, and will always have heavy opinions about just about everything MotU related.

But I can't recall anyone hating the cross. It's how it's always been. I don't think it offended anybody. Or if it did it was a very few individuals.
Certainly not as many as were offended when they took away the cross.

And let's not make this yet ANOTHER debate on whether the cross is a christian symbol, a nazi symbol, or whatever. A cross is a cross. And on He-Man, on Eternia... It's always been He-Man's symbol, period, end of story.

Any variations on the classic chest emblem- be it the "H", the asterick, or whatever else- should be saved for variants.

I actually like what the 4HM did on the statue and bust, it was a more detailed version of MYP interpretation of Mattel’s original asterisk. That said I like the classic H that Mattel put on Battle armor, Thunder Punch and Flying fist He-man the best.

I am in the same camp as Orko's Magic Hat. I really don't like the new H symbol so I will pick the cross. However, I do love the whole Battle Armor He-Man symbol (and outfit). I wouldn't mind if He-Man's look was a new hybrid of classic and classic battle armor.

Although I liked the stylized H from the 2002 series, I always felt it was a little cluttered, and at times, hard to get an H out of. So for me, I think several of you are correct in saying it's gotta be the iron cross or classic H, I think Mattel could do major bank by having a series/toyline where He-Man regularly upgrades to battle armor. The classic battle armor design is so cool, as well as several of He-Man's alternate armors from the original line. plus it would give them a chance to use the H and the iron cross both.

the statue had the cross, (both full size and mini statue) the H on the bust wasn't bad, but the really I never saw he-man as having that need to advertise his initial...to me it doesn't fit.

I liked the cross symbol & didn't mind the H-symbol all that much but we really didn't need either tattooed across Castle Greyskull's forehead..or did we?
