yep I prefer the soft heads myself, I think that if Mattel went the soft head route for the commemoratives they'd look better (not that they are terrible but they aren't as good looking as the originals in the head dept)

I like both, but I perfer soft head.

    1. Easier to pull off when customizing.
    2. Hours of fun making He-man looks funny
    3. Whne you were a kid... wasn't it just the best thing to chew on?

I'm with everyone else who has posted, I'm with the soft heads. They just seemed to have more depth and detail, the hard heads just looked so... plasticy? And yes, when you were bored, you could have hours (well, minutes) of fun squeezing them into funny faces.

I have a MOTU game, that seems to be quite uncommon, that came with He-Man and Skeletor heads. You had to mount one on the little roll-y thing proved, and guide it through the maze, by tilting the board, avoiding the holes, until it got safely to Castle Grayskull.

As I say, this game seems to be fairly uncommon. Has anyone else got it? Hmm... maybe this needs a new thread.

    Hi,
    I prefer the softhead, too.

For me, the softheads are simply looking better - and as already mentioned - squeezing them, so that they looked angry, afraid or just stupid was always fun.

Well, I spent a while this afternoon looknig for this game, but it seems to have been buried in the depths of our loft. It's not far away, I saw it not so long ago, so I'll find it and post pictures. It's very early mini-comics style, featuring both halves of the sword of power, and Zodak as an evil warrior. The moulds for the little heads you have to guide around are taken directly from the figures. I *will* find it, I feel like having a play of it again!

This poses an interesting question. I also prefer the soft head versions.

Soft head for sure. Better details, and of course nostalgia.
