it happens sometimes. For monster high I have a Draculuara in one of the Abbey' packages, and for 200x I have a Rattlor with a Tri-klops insert for the name. for the most part they are nice oddities, every once in a while you can find a packaging oddity collector if you find enough of them you can get something out of the figure.

Rob Liefeld isn't a comic artist, he's a women's clothing designer. Think about it
This used to happen with shocking frequency in the 200x days if I remember right. As a result the error cards weren't worth anything.
Keep it on card, it will be worth more.
This happens occassionally in action figure lines, going all the way back at least to Kenner's Star Wars in the 70s and 80s. It was really noticeable with Toy Biz's earlier Marvel lines too. Generally, there's not real added worth to this type of thing, though people do sometimes keep/collect them as a novelty thing.
MOTUC Wishlist Goatman, Dylamug, Songster, Evil Robot, Tuvar and Badra, Game Master, Grayskull Robot, Lizard Man, Karg, Prahvus, Skelcon(s), the new villains from He-Ro/Dare, Plundor
This is not an unusual occurence in a normal retail line. You don't see it very often in MOTUC because the figures are usually not packaged at the same time. We have seen it happen a few times. Most recently, we saw the Fisto figures in the Sorceress white mailer boxes. However, in your situation, the Mer-Man and Hordak reissues (two of the few true reissues) were produced at the same time. That is how this strange packaging combination occured.
If you are curious about "worth"... It is only going to be valuable to folks that collect packaging variations.

Should be worth a few hundred thousand in a few years. Wealthy collectors live for these kinds of mistakes.
I think it used to happen more frequently in the early days of Classics. I remember reading stories of it, though that may have just been the name inserts and not the actual cards. I remember that my reissue Hordak even came with the name insert of The Goddess lol.
Now on ebay they're selling an Hordak with the Goddess name for 5.000 dollars...
