You sure it said it had a "Best Buy Exclusive" item on the plastic wrap? As another poster had a similar problem before (thought they were getting the Target Exclusive of Vol. 1, only to realise they got the regular release).
This early in the game, all best buy should have are the litho ones. It's only after the reorders come in do you risk not getting the litho.

That's not accurate. Best Buy orders a specific amount of the exclusives (to keep it a limited edition) and an amount of the regular version as well. They allocate a certain number of each version to each store.
ah, didnt know they worked that way. At Barnes And Noble, any "special" stuff we got was always the initial shipments and then it seaged into the normal editions.

Thanks! I had a feeling this was the one you went to, off of Imperial and Harbor? I went yesterday before even checking the org and got mine there. For anyone looking to get the set a day early in the OC CA area, there were easily 7-8 more sets.
Just think, there may well have been a "Wonderbread" He-Man flier/advert similar to this new KG flier/advert....
Anybody else's Best Buy litho have a crease down the center? I'm hoping they'll let me exchange the set for another, cuz I really don't want to buy a third set after picking up 1 from Best Buy & Target today.....
So far I only got the Target exclusive one.

Well, the litho is just the cover (minus logo & text) with a cool holofoil-ish type finish.
The Target art cards are sweet. The 2 standard art cards are nice too. If you like the art style from the new "Spectacular Spider-Man" cartoon, you'll LOVE one of them......

I picked up the first volume just so I could get the slip case to finish the mural, but I want Blu Ray for the rest of the series. (and I will re-purchase volume one on Blu Ray when it is available)
I picked up both sets today as well, but I haven't had the chance to open either of them yet!!
Just got back from getting my set at Best Buy. They seemed to have a good number of them. Coincidentally, they still have 4 or 5 of the season one sets with the slip-cover box as well. If anyone missed out on that and needs one, I could probably hook you up.

The Target exclusive cards are awesome....
They basically come in the same package as the bb litho, and it's metallic foil cards of MYP promotional images.
One is He-Man/Skeletor Ken Kelley style poster.
One is the Heroes group shot
One is the Villains group shot.

That's pretty cool! I noticed it's #2 best seller in the last 4 weeks on your guys' site. I'm hoping at least one of these sets makes it onto the charts.

I'm glad to hear that, because I've never actually seen them in person/on the foilboard!
It was a rush to get them done, so I never saw an actual proof of them like I did the Best Buy litho.
I think I'm getting some samples of them tomorrow...
I wouldn't say flop. Expectations were low and it really hasn't done a whole lot, but it's sold some. Maybe if it gets into the Wal-Mart bin, it'll do something.

Just picked up the Best Buy exclusive during my lunch break. Looks great! The holofoil is super cool!!
I got the Best Buy exclusive. I'd say just half of the ones there had the litho. I like the Teela/Sorceress artcard, but didn't really care for the other one.
i stopped at 2 local walmarts after work last night and waited for them to go throw boxes of dvds...nothing. then i went to the same stores before work this afternoon. nothing. it's labeled for display but nothing there yet.
