Right now, one a month is good enough for me considering the $20 price tag plus shipping. That's 12 figures a year! Sounds good to me. Plus, I'm sure we'll be getting frequent updates as to who's coming out X amount of months before hand.

I'd settle for 2 per month - after all, I collect double and particular characters even three times, so how should I pay more than 2 per month? Maybe 3 would still work, but I might fall behind...

Having one a month is good for my wallet as well since $20 each plus shipping is going to be a chunk out of my budget. Especially since I want one to open and one for MOC.

A year is a long time, I think the distribution may change depending on product interest, I'd like to see 2-3 figures released per month. That way I could get 2-3 of each figure per month. I don't feel like spending any more. Lets not forget vehicles and play sets though! I think they should release One Hero and One Villian per month to start off with. 24 figures per year is a huge number really.

Yep 2-3 a month. I may as well buy multiple figures to save on shipping.

2-3 max. It would be nice to save on shipping. It's like gas prices...expensive.

But wouldn't you save if you bought more than one figure?

On ebay if I buy one figure shipping is around $20-30. If I buy 3 figures it's still around $20-30 because of the way postal charges are calculated based on the size/weight of the box. One box with 1 or 3 figures in it doesn't seem to affect the cost of shipping much.

I'd be cool with what the Stactions were SUPPOSED to be like: 4 Waves of 3 characters per year.

Yeah, that's the same thing as one a month, but paying for shipping only 4 times instead of 12.

But really, I'm not in the mood for complaining about anything right now!
The figures look great, and I'm stoked that Mattel is giving collectors the attention we've been seeking (and deserving, IMO) for many years.

It's ok with the once a month in a way, especially on the months I want to get an extra to open. Plus it gives you something to look foward too.

I would buy as many as they put out. And doubles, because I would have to buy the same for my son. I spend tons on star wars every month, so in reality this is nothing money wise compared to that.

Being a moc collector, then a loose collector, & also a custom wannbe...one a month is fine enough at the current price.

But because of backordering, 2 would give me options & still an empty wallet

2 or 3 a month, depends on how much shipping costs though.

Just keep in mind the sheer amount of characters to come. The 80ies figures are already close to 70 different characters. Adding never before produced fanfavorites like Marlena, Adora, Marzo, Evilseed, Green Goddess and so on, that would make 100 figures easily. Always depending on the continuing success of the line, that is.
That would make at least EIGHT YEARS until the last character is available. Do you seriously want to wait 8 years for that last figure? I certainly donīt.

Therefore Iīd rather go with 2 or even 3 figures per month.

I could see a system like the following working pretty well:

    First month:
He-Man, Beastman, King Grayskull exclusiv (including chase variant)

    Second month:
    1 character, 1 Armybuilding figure

    Third month:
    another 2 characters

    fourth month:
another two characters and a variant (as in "Green Goddess is a green skined variant of Teela)

    fifth month:
    See second month

    and so on.

I'd buy one each month, simply because I can't afford more than this at such a price.

I'd go with two a month. With the $20.00 price tag you take a big gamble selling more than that. It might turn into another situation like we had with the stactions.

I just don't think MOTU has a big enough fan base to support a multiple figure line at that price, right now. I think Mattel knows this too and will slowly resaturate the mainstream with MOTU stuff. Now if and when a movie is made, and the movie is not a flop, Mattel will likely ratchet up the production of MOTUC to capatlize on all the money they will be getting. Also the online sales of the figures will have to be great too.

I would Buy 2-3 a Month! 12 Figures per Year are not enough! 24 would be much better!
