Misfits yesterday, they are extremely loud.
Sabrina Salerno. An epic set (between chin and bellybutton), but should've performed more 80s hits.
"She-Ra, Princess of Power was no more. That had been the price of freedom."
Went to see Walking Papers last night in Grimsby which is a strange place to play as it not really on the touring circuit. But gig was amazing with great energy, well attended (though I think Duff Mckagan being a member drew alot of people in) not too long a set which was to be expected with them only just having released their debut album, they did actually say they played ever song they had including two not on the album. And they came out after to meet the fans and do signings at the merch table.

Was going to make the trip over to Evansville, IN to see Journey tonight, but it was cancelled this morning. Bummer.
Wait do you mean The Saturdays as in the awesome girl group from the UK???? If so you are freaking lucky, I love them and would die to get a chance to see them live. I did not know that they were in the States. Vanessa is my fav. I hope they release an album here in America, they are really good and have some fantastic dance/pop songs.
Elton John was the last concert I saw.

The last concert I attended was the KISS/Motley Crue concert here in Birmingham, AL in July. The show might not have happened due to serious rain the day before. Thankfully the fire department was able to pump the excess water out of the parking lot. Because of this, the road crews were an hour late getting the stages set up. However, they were very efficient. Crue bassist Nikki Sixx commented how the Crue almost had to cancel their previous show here also due to excessive rain. I knew I'd get a good show out of KISS. I'd always heard that the Crue were also master showmen and had highly theatrical shows themselves. They came out before KISS and they truly stood toe to toe with KISS in good, theaterical rock concerts.
And I loved the KISS show. I was hesitant to spend $100, but it turned out to be worth every cent. And what was even better, the show happened during my vacation in July!

Went to see David Byrne & St. Vincent on Sept. 16 here in Milwaukee, WI. It was their second show after they launched their U.S. tour in Minneapolis, MN. It was very enjoyable and humorous at times with the quirky interplay/choreography between the two them and the backing brass band. And the songs sounded awesome.
And on Oct. 8 saw Norah Jones. I just love her voice and she did not disappoint. My only problem was I didn't get enough sleep the night before so by the middle of the show and towards the end I was fighting off the urge to close my eyes--which happened about four times--but I made it through.
I saw Unknown Hinson earlier this year in Maryville, TN. Glad I did since he's announced his retirement.
Old people used to annoy me at weddings by pinching my cheeks &
saying that you are the next.
They stopped doing that when I started doing the same to them at funerals.
