    MYP He-Man - Volume 3 DVD - Official Talkback

The last 13 episodes of MYP-run.

Actual release date for DVD is August 5th but it is out early as
    SDCC Exclusive with King Grayskull-cover.

    Other Exclusives are:
    - Best Buy : comes with printed comic-adaption of unproduced episode 40 by MVCreations.
    - Target : comes with a He-Man keychain (layered rubber)

The comic-adaption is in a viewable PDF format in every DVD, so I hope everyone enjoys the read.

There are cool documentaries with 4Horsemen which are no doubt a must-see.

So what did you guys think? Getting to see the last episodes in high quality widescreen format?

    MOTU Vol 3 Talkback!

    It's out!

Or at least the SDCC edition is

So far, I have to say I love the Bachelo art. it's very kick-@ss.
Episode 40 is cool, ends on a nice cliffhanger.
And the as I skim through the morals, I have to say Marlena's is great.

Im loving the 4H documentaries. I thought the shout out to Lioncourt was perticularly nice. I think they gave some great tips to customisers. The drawings of spikor, and the figure variants for Teela and Moss Man were also great.
PRO CLASSIC POP TOY DESIGN ELEMENTS BEING USED IN MOTUC TO COMPLEMENT THE FILMATION DESIGNS!!!!

I FULLY SUPPORT THE INCLUSION OF ILLUMINA IN MOTUC!!!!!

IF YOUR SICK OF WAITING FOR A LIGHT TO APPEAR AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL, STRIDE DOWN THERE AND LIGHT THE BLOODY THING YOURSELF!!!!!!!

When she finds out just tell her you got the Target exclusive because you knew you would never misplace the keychain so you're going to use it for your keys and she won't have to worry about some random stranger having access to your house if they find keys. Seriously, if that doesn't work just tell her you bought it for yourself in case she forgot your birthday and you were ensuring you got a present.

MOTU 200x Vol. 3 released early @ Best Buy!

For those eagerly waiting for the third volume of MOTU 200x my local Best Buy once again released it early with a price tag of:

    $17.99

And the bonus comic adaptation of episode 40 was excellent (esp. the ending with Highlight for spoiler for those that do not already know)

Man at Arms becoming a Snake Man

Plus the always smart Best Buy employees gave me the quote of the year.

After I purchased my set I saw the regular kid stocking the shelf & said thanks for breaking street date again you made my day. He then asked me what I bought & I said the new He Man set, to which he responded:

“Ah, it’s only Anime & no one cares if we break street date on Anime”

Home of many hard to find classic 80's toons, even though they might be bootlegs.

Oh I am so going to Best Buy the second it opens tomorrow to look and see if they put it out early. They did for the Filmation series but haven't for MYP.

As for the guy stocking the shelf... okay not to be mean but who cares what he said about it! IT GOT PUT OUT EARLY!!! And for the people who do care about 'anime' are going to buy it the second they see it because they *DO* care. I mean you certainly cared enough to check early for it even if that wasn't your original reason for being in the store.

Couple of things I've noticed having watched the DVDs a few days....

If you watch the commentary, you get the season one intro. Watch it without, you get the Snake Men one. Weird.

The Commentaries are pretty cool. They do acknowledge they packed a lot into Power of Grayskull and should have made it a two parter. Apparently they cut out a whole Horde vs Snake Men flashback, netting us the painting of it(PS: look closely at the painting, you can see Hordak and Hiss ), and really had to crunch the whole Grayskull saga from finding the Oracle to then questing for his great Power. Oh, and that statue room supposedly contains all of Grayskull's armors, from reg, Snake, to Horde.

Episode 40 is pretty cool. Now what the heck happens in 41 guys? You leave us majorly hanging!

What's the name of that font Jukka?

    Why? Is he bad?
He's just not as spikey as I would have imagined. He also looks like a Clawful re-fit.

I can't remember. I did this with pen-tool in PS.

I once had it....I think it was called Deep Space Nine like the StarTrek...

So, what's the plot of episode 40, actually?
My DVD player won't play the US volumes, so I gotta buy a new one before I order the DVD sets.

Really looking forward to getting this, especially for the comic, should be awesome!

May I ask which characters are featured on the disc art this time, and what are the art cards like?

Nice. Would have been perfect if it was Hordak instead of Rattlor though

The Snake Men intro was actually kind of hard for Mattel to track down and the commentaries were filmed before we had it. We couldn't replace it in the commentaries because the 2 intros are not the same length.

I would've liked to use Hordak, but Mattel has no high quality cartoon images of him.

    Darn.

On another note, the sketch by 4HM would have looked stellar on the disc-art too.
