"Everything comes to he who waits."
I remember wondering as a kid why Mattel did all those versions of He-Man and Skeletor over the years and never actually produced the versions seen in the movie...
Anyway... Seems it won't be happening now either.
I wonder how much it would cost to buy the rights of the movie characters so Mattel can release them in the MOTUC line after all...
I have a buck fifty
The qeustion is being asked in the next Q&A. I am eager to hear the answer.

It can't rain all the time.
"Live the journey, for every destination is but a doorway to another."
While I remain a fan of the movie and a firm follower of the Cult of Lubic, I wouldn't want likenesses of (most of) the actors. That being said/typed, I would surely pick up figures of He-Man, MAA, Skeletor, Evil Lyn, with toy-sculpt faces wearing the movie designed costumes. I would gladly purchase Gwildor, Blade, Saurad, or even Julie and Kevin, though. (Maybe not Kevin, but if I had a Julie, I could also have Monica, and she could keep Grayskull spotless (except for a very messy closet which no one would know about.) Then her mom/Sorceress would come over and still nitpick.)
...My brain hurts...
MOTUC Most Wanted: Skeleteen, Prince Keldor, Captain Randor, Hawke, The Great Black Wizard, Lady Slither, Spirit, Tuvar, Baddra, Cursed Marzo, and for the love of Grayskull, ODIPHUS!!!
Here's a thought - albeit a very fanciful thought ... but how cool would it be if Mattel released (my personal favourite) Blade as a Classic?!
Now I know this ain't ever gonna happen, but I can just imagine how cool he would look - and they could even make him more like his movie representartion (sticking with the black and silver theme) as portrayed by Anthony DeLongis ...

I'm with you.
Blade was one of my favorite figures as a kid, and I've wanted a 4H figure of him for a long time.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Saurod, Blade and Gwildor - but I doubt we'd get them anytime soon.
MOTUC Blade is just the type of figure I am really waiting on! Just imagine how cool he'd be. He is one that seems tailor made for this line and encompassing a part of The Masters of the Universe we haven't seen in awhile.
Teela the Warrior Goddess is my homegirl.
What?!?!?! No Monica-from-Friends in MOTUC?
I think Blade would be great in MOTUC form.
I say Exclusive Comic-Con 3-Pack.

If they do any of the characters from the movie(which is only 3), I`d want them to be modeled after the MOTU Movie comic. All the characters who appeared in the movie had their normal look in the comic, as opposed to the live action movie counter parts

Just saw the coolest custom Skeletor ever, look HERE.
I know Filmation are off the limit, but what about those movie characters, can they do them like movie style ?
It would be so cool in someday when they are point of releasing Blade, Saurod & Gwildor, they actually make He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms, Skeletor, Evil-lyn, Beastman and maybe even Karg & Lubic in movie style. I want THE WHOLE MOVIE LINE !!!
Wow sweet, looks superb.
I'm not so into movie figures. Liked none of them actually. So I hope they do other figures first.
Nope. Apparently, when Mattel sold the entertainment rights to scrounge up some cash, they lost rights to anything outside the action figure lines, the mini-comics (and only those things that originated there can be used; later incorporation of Filmation concepts into some minis is out) or the 2002 cartoon.
First time I can remember a toy line where the property is owned by the com-pany but so much is off limits to them.

I'd buy anything to do with the movie, seeing as there was so little merchandise first time round - I love the movie ...

Bikini Teela: Hottest version ever!!
I want Saurod and Blade for sure! Karg would be pretty cool too. I liked the film, as a kid i loved it just because it was He-man, even though through adult eyes its very far removed from MOTU other than in names.
