I was just coming over to post this. It really is a good read and well worth your time. It really shows how much Mattel is listening to collectors with this line.

So the new "official" list of upcoming characters is:

    He-Man
    Beastman
    Skeletor
    Mer-Man
    Stratos
    Zodak
    Trap-Jaw
    Green Goddess

    Probably?
    He-Ro
    Eternian Soldieres
    Horde Troopers
    Jitsu
    Count Marzo

Yeah... But really, the way it sounded was that anything they can do? They're gonna do. It all boils down to the success of this line.

I really love that just about everything is up for grabs. Eternian Soldiers, Troopers, He-Ro etc.
That's been a detail that's been there since we've started hearing of this line, and it's a detail that I think we're all loving.

    Thanks Toyguru, thanks Fwoosh!

Wow, that was a great interview, i'm much more convinced that the Classics will last beyond the 8-back characters now.

Fantastic interview, it was even better than the panel

I really hope some of the things work out, such as increased order quatities and the subscription service.

I really like the subscription idea. yea it will cost about $300 for the year, but to get a new fig every month without having to go online and order will be cool. i do hope that those with a subscription get some added bonuses however, be it comics, discounted / guaranteed comic con figs, etc. Give folks a little incentive and folks will be subscribing en masse, which will definitely empower mattel to keep it coming. really this is a win - win for all involved. Truly great news.

Didn't really hear anything I hadn't hward at the panel, They mentioned GG there, but the subscription thing is what a lot of people were hoping for.

Can't wait til the subscription thing happens so we can have pages of threads where people are upset about the figure choices and selections.

I wouldn't take this as a GG and Jitsu confirmation. He also said he was making everyone in the entire line, like 200 people. So he confirmed everyone. If I take away anythink from that interview it is that they pay attention to this board it seems, which is good.

that was my understanding...and I'm very happy about the announcement of seriously considering a subscription service!!!

Just think, had the 4H never made that He-Man prototype, none of this would be happening.

Green Goddess... I smell a Convention Exclusive there.

Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if next year we saw:
NYCC - Stratos "Blue Wings" Exclusive
    SDCC - Green Goddess Exclusive

The guaranteed con figures would be awesome and are sure to sell a lot of those subscriptions (at least one for me)

Sounds so cool! I got my King Greyskull a couple of days ago, and he is awesome So this line is definitely one that I will be supporting! I love the subscrition idea, and would love to get started on that. It would be cool if all those that set up a subscription would also get the new comic. I mean wouldn't it be cool if every month when your new figure arrived he came with a full length comic. It's seems since Mattel has that deal with DC the two could workout a deal on making a comic series! Great time to be a He-Fan!
