How do you feel about MOTUC Lizard Man?

After viewing Scott's latest video covering all of the Q1 2015 figures, I was pleasantly surprised by almost all of the production-model quality...... almost.

Lizard Man, of whom I've been a lifetime fan, deserves a little better IMO. Don't get me wrong, I still think the sculpt is outstanding, and the size and colors look great. I don't even mind the missing ab-crunch, but I am disappointed with the lack of tail articulation!

I know that Lizard Man has been at the top of many fan's most-wanted list for a LONG time, so I ask you all this question: How do you feel about Lizard Man now that more info has been revealed?

Let us know what you like / would've changed with him in this thread!

Articulated tail would be nice. I don't care about the ab crunch

He looks great to me. The tail articulation is lacking, but not a big deal to me.
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

Would have liked to see the ab crunch...but I'm not that big a lizard man fan anyways... I may just use him for fodder
Man lives in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality.
But...there is, unseen by most, an underworld, a place that is just as real,
but not as brightly lit... a DARKSIDE.

Eh, whatever. It's a cool looking figure, but not perfect high want for me.

I think he is just fine, but!.......I wish the tail was a plug-in piece and at least swiveled. I don't need multiple articulation points on it, but I'm disappointed they made it a solid piece attached to his loincloth.
Here's how to end the line:
2015 200x Mini-Sub: Evilseed, Calix, Prahvus, Horde Wraith, Miro, Veena, Hawke

2016 line: LordMasque, Vultak, Granita, Despara, Dylamug, Hunga, General Sunder,Tuskador, Crita, Lodar, Quakke, Darius

Quarterly items: Sagitar, Stridor, Night Stalker

He actually looks a lot better than I thought he would, and I didn't realise he was basically the standard male figure height. I'm not really fussed about the non-articulated tail, but I hope they don't use the same execution for Saurod's tail, as that would be very disappointing INDEED!

That aside, I'm looking forward to this figure more than I was when he was first revealed at SDCC. I was also pleasantly surprised to see the part re-use of a Modulok arms and legs, and I love the hand webbing. His face looks less goofy now too. He seems to fit better in classics than when first revealed. I love the accessories too. That Flimation Skeletor sword, is it just me or does it look exactly like the one included in the Great Black Wizard design (only painted differently)?

I think I'll be happy to have this guy.

Made his body look more like muscled like the others but thinner in some areas.

I like him. I think that overall they did a nice job on him, however I do understand the tail and ab crunch comments.

Not one of my favourite characters but I will be picking this one up, for sure.

I think there were shortcuts taken on this figure, and I wish they weren't. he'll be the only heroic warrior in 2015 - and he's lacking basic articulation for this line, *and* his tail isn't actually attached to his body.

I like the overall figure, and if either one of these things were done better, I would be much happier with how he was handled.

This is pretty much how I feel... I was sure this is how the 4H would handle him too.

I was a little shocked to learn that his tail is actually a part of his costume?!? For shame Mattel....

Either way, I am just super happy to finally have the one missing Heroic Warrior from HM&tMotU season 1!

I'm not a fan of Lizard Man. The figure looks fine BUT, the lack of ab crunch hurts him since he's supposed to kinda hunch over (which helps with some Wall crawling poses. The lack of Tail articulation means that he will take Extra horizontal space to pose. At least I can tuck the tails on Draego, Whiplash and Rattlor when displaying them to save space.
FINALLY!! GLIMMER IS IN MY SHELF!! Now I need a Crita!! Crita is to Mara what Evil Lyn is to Teela. If we ARE getting Mara, then we NEED Crita.

I have no personal interest in the figure so to me he is fine as is.

I was disappointed that Whiplash didn't have more articulation in his tail but after that, I didn't expect Lizard Mans smaller tail to have any so I wasn't surprised or disappointed by it.

I was so relieved that they went with a slimmer buck that I didn't notice the other details. I've wanted Lizard Man since I was a kid, and I think he turned out pretty great! It would have been nice if he had some sort of accessory that actually belonged to him, but I'll probably end up trying to find a way to display him wall-crawling, so he wouldn't be able to hold anything anyway. I'm happy with him!

I am not dissapointed but it was curious he didnt have the ab crunch when Tung Lashor does. I dont think it will bother me, but then it's not in hand. We shall see.
