hey guys - to clarify one of my answers - Duncan as snakeman would have been a 3-5 episode storyline max. He is one of the great MOTU characters.

Go to fan creations. They aren't perfect, but they're something at least.

The other idea is that Faker would come in. Tri-Klops would find the MAA robot and use it to impersonate He-Man and frame him.

What really sucks about all this is that the guys were really just getting the material. Everything was falling into place, and everything fit really well. Season 2, even at 13 episodes was freaking amazing. It was definitely moving in a stronger, edgier direction. And we would've gotten a season of a fully animated, BA Hordak. Something Filmation could never do.

The answers given about She-Ra were in the likes:

"We would like to have her in there... part of He-Man mythology.."

"She would be introduced using existing material, when the time was right"


So that doesn't say she was planned specifically for season 3, like some of the other stuff. She would be a possibility, and accordingly; basing her story from the filmation-origin.

Also, was it mentioned Marlena was half-gar or was that to be revealed in season 3?

Ian Richter said that they came up with this idea, but unfortunately weren't able to implement it during the 39 episodes. Should series have continued, they would have explored that.

Thanks for the research/info Jukka. That's really crazy about Duncan though. I'm not sure how I feel about him being a Snakeman FOREVER. Maybe that's in homage to how the New Adventures of He-Man was supposed to go for season two? He-Man returns to Eternia and Duncan became an evil warlord who ruled Eternia.

If they did fully intend for MAA to be a villain for good, I think I see why they were thinking of Fisto as Teela's father. Duncan gone forever means she needs someone else to take care of her. However, he could do this with just being her Uncle. Come on people. lol

Snake Armor yes. But Horde... I don't get it.
Snakes a venomus creatures, the Horde is just a bunch mixed creatures.

Who knows, maybe after all these years I have been thinking too much into it.

Quite indifferent to this as I neither like nor hate clamp champ. If he had been used properly he might have been good but I wouldn't have held my breath

I've always hated the idea that Fisto is Teela's father so this is one storyline I would have liked not to have seen if the cartoon had continued.

I was thinking about starting a thread like this when I re-posted the link to the Q&A in the EP40 Talkback thread.

Well we see this happen in the EP40 comic.
Don't know about for good but a temporary change would have been a great idea, especially if they use him to create Blast Attack(s), then when if he turns back he could be like what have I done etc. But this wasn't mentioned in the Q&A and I kinda think they would have mentioned Blast Attack if thats what they had planned.

Would have loved to see this. I think he would have become the new Masters weapons master now MAA is a snakeman and would have introduced clamps to the rest of the Masters as a weapon against the Snakemen and thats why all the heroic snake armour toys came with clamps of some kind.

In the commentary for the episode which featured the He-man Faker they said there would be a link to the robot becomming Faker and Despondos.
They also said Randor would be banished there so I think the defenders will probably use the robot to get Randor back and the robot then gets corrupted by the power of Despondos.

Wouldn't the Horde suffer from the venomous effect of Despondos?
