NEW Mini-Master Figures and Castle Grayskull!

Masters of the Universe® Classics Minis

Each 2-pack includes one hero mini and one villain mini plus a piece of a mini Castle Grayskull®. Collect all six 2-packs and build the front facade of the castle with an opening Jaw Bridge! Here’s a look at the first two releases.

Pack 1: Battle Armor He-Man® vs. Mer-Man®. This 2-pack includes He-Man® sword and shield and Mer-Man® trident and sword.

Pack 2: Battle Armor Skeletor® vs. Moss Man®. This 2-pack includes a flocked mini Moss Man®, Skeletor® staff and sword and Moss Man® mace and shield.

Mini Castle Grayskull®: Purchase both packs and you’ll have the pieces you’ll need to build this mighty mini!

This is all very exciting, but it probably means no MOTUC add-on sub for 2014...because this probably IS the add-on sub. They're very cool, but I would much rather have MOTUC. If a MOTUC add-on sub is announced, I'll change my tune.

They are a lot easier on the old wallet, though

I'm glad these little dudes are finally getting released

I'm really digging the Mer-Man for sure. Not sure about the rest, but very cool no doubt.

I'm really happy to see this line extended, as much as i love classics these are a great update to the spirit of the vintage line.

I'm excited! I do hope there's still a PoP sub...
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

Very cool! I wonder if they are the same scale as the first two.

I would figure they have little to do with the main Classics budget. They would most likely be in addition to anything else.

    Moss Man looks slightly diseased.

I like these a lot, but I'll be totally cheesed off if we get these instead of an add-on sub of some sort.

I'm pretty sure this doesn't affect MOTUC's budget. Since they now are tying these to the videogame, the money might come from a different allocated budget.
Also, they look to be smaller scaled than the SDCC ones...

Great news but did we really need variants in the line already?

    Mer-Man and Moss Man ....awesome.

    Battle armor variants... lazy.

With only 12 mini figures being released, those Battle Armor variants seem like wasted slots.

    Where's Hordak vs. She-Ra?

They are a smaller scale now...

I don't understand why they would do that. I LIKE the smaller figures, but it's kind of lame because they first two are significantly bigger...

The variants are probably so we can have a He-man and Skeletor in a matching scale.

Overall they are still really cool, and the scale isn't TOO far off, I guess.

Yeah, the scale change doesn't make sense since that would mean they can't reuse the tools for He-Man, Skeletor, the weapons, etc...

Has the change in size been confirmed?
Perhaps these new ones are the older prototypes that were shown before and they will be at the larger scale when they are produced?

Meh. I'm not a huge fan of these. They're cool enough, but I'd rather their budget, and my budget, be spent on MOTUC.
Battle Armor variants are boring and Moss Man looks kinda crappy.

The older prototypes were the same size as the SDCC 2-pack released...
this doesn't make a whole lot of sense... but my guess is that in order to keep it at a $20.00 price they had to make them smaller...

    Hmmm, ok.
Well, it still doesn't make a ton of sense to me... but I don't think my son will care either way.

Man, I really hope we get a MOTUC mini-sub program that's purely POP for once. Come on Mattel, make it happen.

    They look awesome!
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
    For my unconquerable soul.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.
