It's taken quite some time to get this particular challenge together.
One of the first non-populars of my run, but with some extended deadlines, we've managed to get together
a pretty good mix after all. : )
So here we have them, the few, the proud, redesigns of... POINT **DREAD** ( yes, notice I put extra stars there?) AND THE TALON FIGHTER!
One of the first playsets of the original toyline, reimmagined for the new millenia.
Because of the nature of these playsets, I'm afraid that there will be quite some time until we see them
in the challenge again, but in due time I'm sure we'll get to the 3 Towers as well.
But next up in the challenge is... the NEW ADVENTURES OF TEELA! ^^
love all of them especially mine
but i voted for bootlegs, cuz it was awesome
Great job everyone, I voted for bootleg. Please immediately begin producing these, and sell me a whole squadron of Talon Fighters they are so Awesome! I especially want a XCF-2E! Great job bootleg.
bootleg... then... yance... e... 2-bad... wolf...
that's my prediction
They're all great but I love yance's vision of Talon Fighter being somekind of lost relic or so..
thank you very much to those who have comments and/or votes!
this is a great bunch of entries... i like yance's version, because combining the talon fighter WITH point dread is very original, and i like Patreek's because it's a cool idea that could exist alongside most of the other versions we see here.
ultimately i voted for 2-bad, because his take really felt like a modernization of the concept... and would make for an awesome toy! Any of our local customizers up to the challenge?
I loved both bootleg & yance's versions almost equaly(I'm a big Shadow of the Collossus fan) but hats off to bootleg for all the effort thats put into this paryicular redesign.
Wow guys some really great entries - Bootleg's won out for me in the end - what a selection.
Loved 2-Bad's & Yance's as well, some great concepts.
A fabulous new wardrobe was revealed to me the day I held aloft my sword and said...
I was always partial to Wolf's, but they were all phenomenal. Good work everyone!
Yeah, everybody's done good, real good.
Even tho Bootlegs entry is excellent, and there is a gargantuan amount of work put in it, I finally had to go with new-comer Yance. It just seems like such a wholly original, yet completely sensible design.
They all look great but my vote goes to bootleg. I love how he worked the two monogram models into it.
i love bootlegs work as always but the yance one really grabbed me i love it. pretty baddass
THE CONTINUING WORLD OF MOTU
Between 2-bad, bootleg and thatguy I don't even know where to vote!
I could totally see the Cosmic Enforcers flying around in a host of different talon fighters like what bootleg came up with.
Yance's is a very cool take as well!
These are some very cool entries and big thanks for everyone who posted!
We need to let our new friends at Super 7 know that many of us are ALL IN COLLECTORS. We don't want products that are impossible for the average collector to have access to! If there is a He-man product, I want to buy it. Please no chases or con-only exclusives.
Make your voice heard! We DO want Snake Mountain!
I love Yances work. VEry cool design
He weeps, for he has but one small tongue, with which to taste an entire world!
Lots of original custom t-shirts and stickers available @ http://www.redbubble.com/people/mightyrain
Many designs based on Masters of the Universe, Classic video games and random movies/cartoons/movies we all know and love.
The poll is closed! And a big congratulations goes out to Bootleg, who's certainly won a decisive victory!
I'd like to also put out a cudos to new-comer Yance who did very well, coming in at a second place. Considering he's all-new to the board, and this is his very first challenge. I'm looking forward to some great stuff from him in the future.
But now... we must prepare for...
