I'm really unsure about displaying him with the water in the helmet, but he looks so good like that...

Man, the silver on Slush Head looks awesome!

Whole guy looks fantastic, and I'm glad you can use the gun as an axe. Can't say I'm super happy with the non-bendy arms (since they could have just used normal plastic instead of the foam on Snout Spout's trunk) but it looks like they are posed in a good neutral position, and the ability to move them forward will probably get me the action poses I'd want. Overall I'm lookin' forward to 'em! More NA is always good.

Pity they couldn't have figured out a way to make the top section of the headpiece seperate from the body armour. So instead of the head being articulated the entire dome and its base can be turned. (sort of like Man-E-Faces)

Can't wait to add Kalamarr to my Space Mutants (Optikk and Kronis are getting lonely...). I'll fill his dome with destilled water or mineral oil as it adds to his vintage look.

That's exactly how it was done on the vintage figure...

Man, Slush head looks good. These new figures are making me warm up to the NA guys quite a bit. Well, I should say NA Space Mutants quite a bit. Flipshot still doesn't do it for me, but SlushHead and Optikk more than make up for that.

Can't wait to see what NA guy we get next

I really like your reviews i´m looking forward to them every month and this one was great i was counting along with you what parts he was made of, i speculated that the second i saw him when he was revealed!

I'm not an NA fan, but I've been looking fwd to SH since the reveal.

Veebs' review confirms it - & he looks as good as hoped with his head-tank full of water.

I suppose I am an NA fan now... sort of. Some of the other villains will be sure to look good too (e.g. Tuskador).

Yes, the dome with the head in it was a separate piece with a cut joint at the "neck". I don't get why he wasn't done like that...

Nice to see some of that sentiment. There was a lot of bad about NA, but there was some good too. I've watched the complete series twice.

Characters like Optikk, Flog, Slushhead, Lizzor, and Crita blend in just fine and add wonderfully to Skeletor's ranks in my opinion. Same for He-Man with Flipshot, Hyrdon, and one or two others.

I'm curious if there's anything any reviewer will do in the next few days before his release to make Spector any more palatable to me. Someone I know with very limited knowledge of MOTUC looked over my shoulder at the picture and went "That one just looks like a piece of crap." I nearly spit out my coffee. Pressed for more insight, the main thing is: "The colors don't even go well together... that gold wristband with the bright yellow, the purple suit, those silver boots, that green on the wristwatch thing... it looks like whoever put the colors together is completely color-blind. And what's with that stupid spade?"
And there you have it. Spector just seems to incite rage in whoever sets eyes upon him. And maybe that's his secret power? LOL!

I will have more on this later today (hopefully), BUT - whether you like the design aesthetic or not is your call. Like all MOTUC figures, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, I am also not going to lie - Spector is actually a fun figure to pose and play. Perhaps having the "superhero" cues helps with this, but he poses really, really well since he is sleaker than most MOTUC figures.

I can see where Spector having no cape, no clunky armor, no hair, etc. increases his ability to get some amazing action poses, but I'm still going to say his spade and his color scheme needed some more tinkering around with in order to make him rise up in the coolness dept.
