How did you shoot some of those, such as the one pictured in this thread? Photoshop? Smoke? Mirrors?

Thanks! The smoke effect is done with a Halloween fogger I got on clearance a few Halloweens back. I kinda suck with photoshop, so I try to do everything in camera. Danvin, the base is called a triarama and I got it from Triad Toys.

Matt, great choice to include Photog in there. Initially I myself would have chosen Roboto for that role. But having Photog in there really works nicely.
I love the ones with him lying on the ground with the transformed Guards and MAA standing above him and the one where Photog is hit by SMAA. The atmosphere you created is absolutely magnificent.

First, it was really nice to meet some of you guys at SDCC this year! I was so busy keeping appointments and running from booth to booth, I did not get to meet everyone, but I was glad I did get to see some of you!

TG shlepped some Spikor samples to SDCC so I just put up some pictures, I even had Cornboy himself quality check the figure for me right on the convention floor. Come check it out and celebrate Spikor day, it has been almost 30 years in the making!

Thanks for finding the time to post that.

I don't feel he was one of the strongest figures in the vintage line. He was from what I like to call, the first 'we're running out of ideas' wave. But I understand why people liked him back then. He makes for a decent MOTUC fig and the paint is much better on the final product.

Yeah, I knew I wouldn't need a review to like this guy! The review pretty much says all I thought I would get with this figure. Very awesome! Glad to see a preview even though I'll be getting it in a week or so. Thanks!

He looks fantastic! Can't wait to have him - but yikes! He does some damage - those spikes! I'm surprised Mattel didn't turn all his spikes into nubs like they enjoy doing on all the Snakmen's teeth

You're a machine, dude. I don't know how you found the time to get that done so quickly. Pretty shocking to see the spike effects on your hands. I also assumed rubbery consistency similar to the Fisto overlay. Crazy.

After seeing Spikor without accesories I wonder if he could be a better base for UK Horde Prime. Could you do a mix and match?
